Introductory provisions



section 1 of this regulation provides for

application of road Security Act (2010:1362).



section 2 of the concepts contained in this regulation has the same

meaning as in the road Security Act (2010:1362).



Supervisory authority



section 3 of the Transport Agency is the supervisory authority under section 11 of the

Road Security Act (2010:1362).



Traffic safety analysis



section 4 of the road traffic safety analysis shall include a description

by



1. the current traffic safety situation,



2. the road safety problems, and



3. the goals to be achieved with the road project.



In road safety analysis should also include an

impact analysis of the proposed options, a

comparison of the policy options and a description of the best

option.



Road safety review



§ 5, a road safety audits shall cover all

Road project from the initial planning to the

Road Safety Auditors



6 § Education for road safety auditors takes place through

education and otherwise meets the requirements of the

regulations referred to in section 9 shall be approved as

Road Safety Auditors.

training in accordance with the regulations referred to in section 9.



Safety requirements



§ 8 the road authority shall establish a security documentation

the task of systematically and continuously take measures

in accordance with § 9 road Security Act (2010:1362).

The documentation shall contain a general description

and analysis of road network consisting of a survey of

road safety standards and a plan for action

should be taken to increase safety on the roads.



Appropriations



§ 9 Transport Board may provide for



1. preparation and content of a

traffic safety analysis,



2. implementation of the road safety audit and

preparation of audit reports,



3. training, approval and evidence concerning

Road Safety Auditors,



4. traffic safety reviewers ' activities and tasks,



5. the procedure for safety inspections,



6. reporting of road deaths,



7. security requirements



8. supervision and



9. fees for supervision and case management under

Road Security Act (2010:1362) and regulations

issued by virtue of law.



The Swedish Transport Agency will also announce the rules

necessary for the execution of road Security Act

(2010:1362) and this regulation.
