Definitions
3 §/expires U: 2016-01-26/
Means
– the context of learning: learning in a program
carried out at one or more places of work outside school,
– complete program: grades from courses and a
high school work or secondary special education work to an extent

Curriculum
3 a section For secondary schools for a curriculum in accordance with Chapter 1. section 11 of the

high school national programmes and of plans.

Topic plans
4 § according to 16 Cape. section 21 and 19 Cape. section 22 of the Education Act (2010:800)

– each course that is part of the topic,
– the core content for each course,

If the student is an EP, which courses that are
outside the complete program,
– whether the pupil is an individual custom program and
If so, what courses which have been replaced,
– whether the student follows a reduced programme and in the
scope and if possible, the courses that have been removed,
– student's studies in elementary subjects, and
– other actions that are beneficial for the students
knowledge development and intended to be part of the training

Chapter 2. Principals
Approval as an individual principal

3 Cape. Learning times

National programmes

specializations may start the second or third school year.

Secondary apprenticeship and training contracts
section 3 of the 16 Cape. 11 § and 19 Cape. section 10 of the Education Act (2010:800)

4 § the head teacher shall ensure that, for each pupil appoint a teacher to be
responsible for high school work or secondary special education work.

Program advancement
5 § skolverk State may provide for the courses
which may be offered as program specialization for each application.
Among these courses to the college preparatory program in
secondary schools included such courses can be especially

Languages in upper secondary school
section 9, if a student is to read a language in secondary school and pupil
have scores in language from primary school, the teaching of
upper secondary school shall be deleted from the primary level of education. A student
may also read new languages in secondary schools.
The students who have received a high school education with
application of Chapter 16. 32 § Education Act (2010:800) will be offered
the teaching of English at primary school level.

Swedish as a second language
11 § A student who has a language other than Swedish as their mother tongue
may read Swedish as a second language as a secondary common or
high school special education common substance rather than Swedish. The pupil
then read the Swedish as individual choice.

12 § the context of learning should occur at all
vocational programmes at upper secondary school for at least 15 weeks. In
secondary school pupils should appear on the context of learning
all national programmes in at least 22 weeks. A student who is
secondary apprenticeship should instead implement more than
half of this training that the context of learning.

begin this secondary apprenticeship training.

place of work outside the school.

Mother tongue education

section 16 of mother tongue education may not include more than one language
for a student.
A Roma student coming from abroad may, however, be
mother tongue education in two languages if there are special reasons.
section 17 of the mother tongue may be arranged as
1. individual choice,
2. expanded program, or
3. as a substitute for teaching in languages other than Swedish,
Swedish as a second language and English.
section 18 of the principal is required to organise mother-tongue teaching
for a student not exceeding seven academic years during the pupil's school.
Pupils should be given such instruction for longer periods of time if
the pupil has special need of it.
The limitation to seven years does not apply if the teaching
1. replace the teaching of other languages than Swedish, Swedish as
a second language and English,
2. organized as individual choice, or
3. organized by a national minority or an
Nordic-language speakers.
section 19 of The principal is required to organise mother-tongue teaching in
a language only if
1. at least five pupils to offer lessons in language
are such teaching, and
2. There is a suitable teacher available.
Referring to mother-tongue teaching a national minority languages is
the principal is required to organise mother tongue even if
the number of pupils is less than five.
20 § A student who gets mother tongue education may continue to
participate in teaching, even if the language would cease to be
daily social language of the pupil.

Scope of the programmes
Teaching time
section 22 of the principal decides on the number of teaching hours for
each course, each subject area, high school work and
high school special education work and how the distribution of
teaching time over the academic years must be made.
The principal should account for how the pupil has been guaranteed
teaching time. Regulation (2012:402).
EP
23 § a student may participate voluntarily in the teaching of one or
several courses that are outside the student's complete program,

4 a Cape. Fjärrundervisning
General information about fjärrundervisning
1 § Fjärrundervisning may be organized for students in
upper secondary school and upper secondary school pupils under the conditions
and with the limitations resulting from 2 – 4 sections.
The provisions of this chapter does not, however, prevent that a teacher who
is present in the classroom, as part of their teaching
of the students, take the help of another teacher who teach with
the use of information and communication technologies and are
separate from the students in the room but not in time.

2 § Fjärrundervisning may be arranged in
1. modern languages,
2. native language, and
3. sign language.
Fjärrundervisning may also be used to provide students
study guide on the mother tongue. Regulation (2015:291).
Conditions for fjärrundervisning
3 § Fjärrundervisning may be carried out only if
1. There is no teachers which complies with the requirements of 2
Cape. 13 § Education Act (2010:800) or, in the case of
study guide on the mother tongue, other appropriate person to
available within a main man's skolenhet, or
2. student base is insufficient.

Supervisor
4 section At fjärrundervisning there shall be a supervisor
present in the room where the students find themselves.

Agreements with State

Chapter 5. Deviations within national programmes
Special variants
1 § A particular variant is an education in a national
program in which all or part of the overall space,
where appropriate, a national focus and
programs on a national programme of deepening differs from what
that would otherwise apply. Deviation shall comprise at least 300
high school credits or 300 high school special education credits. On
College Preparatory program in high school, it may also
be special variants within the aesthetics of the area.
The training will have a distinct identity of its own but in essence
accommodated within the degree objective or program goal for a program.
For a physical education applies instead of 23 to 31 sections.

Conditions for approval

Conditions for the approval of special variations in
the aesthetic area in upper secondary school
section 3 of a specific variant in the aesthetic area in the
upper secondary school shall be approved if the conditions in paragraph 1 are met
and if
1. education is of high quality,
2. the training required by students with special
skills in the aesthetics of the area,
3. the cost of education is reasonable in relation to the
the purpose of the training and the cost of other secondary
training, and
4. the operator has set up eligibility requirements and
assessed when selection takes place according to §§ 7 and 8. Regulation (2012:402).
Application
4 § Chief may apply to a course of study to be approved
that particular variant. The application shall be submitted to the State's latest skolverk
on 31 January of the calendar year preceding the year in education at
the program is scheduled to start. Individual principals must, under 2
Cape. 1 and 4 sections, submit the application to the State school inspection.

2010:2039
1. This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 February 2011.
