section 1 of this regulation provides for the prohibition and

other measures to implement sanctions against Sweden

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), which has been adopted

by the Council of the European Union through Council decision 2010/800/CFSP of

22 december 2010 concerning restrictive measures against the Democratic

the people's Republic of Korea and repealing common position

2006/795/CFSP.



Definitions



section 2 Of the arms referred to in this Regulation thereof

listed in the annex to the Ordinance (1992:1303) if

war material.



By paramilitary equipment ' means equipment

listed in the annex to this regulation.



Prohibition to buy, import or transport arms

accommodation



section 3, it is not permissible to buy from north korea, import

or transporting military equipment and paramilitary equipment

as well as spare parts for such supplies and equipment. Ban

applies regardless of whether the material or equipment has its

origin in North Korean territory or not.



Exempt from the ban are vehicles not intended for combat, as

have been manufactured or fitted with ballistic protection, and

intended as a protection for the European Union and

its Member States ' staff in north korea.



Ban on supplying, selling or transferring paramilitary

equipment to north korea



4 section is not allowed to directly or indirectly provide,

sell, transfer, or through Sweden carrying paramilitary

equipment to north korea or for use in, or to

favor of north korea, regardless of where the equipment originated

in Sweden, or not.



Common rules on transport



paragraph 5 of the prohibitions provided for in §§ 3 and 4 also applies to the transport of

materials or equipment on ships and aircraft

registered in Sweden.



Supervision, etc.



section 6 of the National Inspectorate of strategic products and customs service

responsible, each within its area of responsibility for overseeing

the prohibitions under sections 3 and 4. The customs service is responsible within its

area of responsibility, in collaboration with the Swedish Transport Agency, for supervision

of the prohibition under section 5.



Regulatory authorities shall consult each other and leave

each other the information necessary for the supervision.

List of paramilitary equipment



By paramilitary equipment referred to the following equipment, if the

While not included in the annex to the Ordinance (1992:1303)

1. Fire-tube gun with caliber < 20 mm.



2. Ammunition specially designed for fire of cane weapon according to

point 1.



3. Weapons sights.



4. Bombs and other explosive charges.



5. Explosive substances.



6. Equipment for protection against conventional munitions.



7. Training materials for military activities.



8. Investigation and measurement equipment with military performance for

observation in the dark.



9. Equipment for the manufacture of equipment referred to in paragraphs

1-8.



10. Special technology and software for equipment referred to in

paragraphs 1 to 9.
