The scope of the
section 1 of this regulation provides that supplement
European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 994/2010 by
20 October 2010 on measures to safeguard security of
of gas supply and repealing Council directive
2004/67/EC and the provisions that connects to the law (2012:273)
on the security of natural gas supply.
section 2 of the Swedish Energy Agency (the Agency) is the competent
authority according to Regulation (EU) No 994/2010.
Agreements between the competent authorities
section 3 of the Swedish Energy Agency may conclude agreements with the competent
authorities of other Member States in the framework of such
cooperation referred to in article 4(3) of Regulation (EC) no
section 4 of the Energy Authority will ensure that the market that
referred to in article 6(10) of Regulation (EU) No 994/2010 is implemented.

Announcement of crisis levels

994/2010 and the law (2012:273) on the security of natural gas supply.
§ 9 the Energy Agency's decision pursuant to article 7(4) of the regulation
(EC) No 994/2010 may be appealed to the Government.
