The General Council of the Riksbank provides under Chapter 5. 1 §

Act (1988:1385) om Sveriges riksbank to coins of denominations

a Crown, two dollars and five dollars shall have the following size,

nature and appearance.



The denomination a Crown



The coin is a copper-covered stålmynt. It has a diameter of

19.50 mm and a thickness of 1.79 millimeters.



The coin's weight is 3.60 grams. When weighing 100 coins may

weight deviate up to plus/minus 5.4 g from 360 grams.



The edge is serrated.



The coin should bear the following mark: front: King Carl XVI

Gustaf's portrait in profile, the left side, the words "CARL XVI

KING GUSTAF of SWEDEN ", and in the Middle the year. During

the portrait is to be found the designer's initials "a". Back: In

the Center says the words "UNITED KINGDOM". Above found little

the national coat of arms and below the figure "1" and the text "a CROWN".

Along the edge are found symbolic rays of sunshine. First

Letter of release ("S") are found to the left of the

small national coat of arms. The Governor's initials ("SI")

to the right of the small national coat of arms.



The denomination two crowns



The coin is a copper-covered stålmynt. It has a diameter of

22.50 mm and a thickness of 1.79 millimeters.



The coin's weight is 4.80 grams. When weighing 100 coins may

weight deviate up to plus/minus 7.2 g from 480 grams.



The edge has two grooved areas.



The coin should bear the following mark: front: King Carl XVI

Gustaf's portrait in profile, the left side, the words "CARL XVI

KING GUSTAF of SWEDEN ", and in the Middle the year. During

the portrait is to be found the designer's initials "a". Back: In

the Center says the words "UNITED KINGDOM". Above found little

the national coat of arms and below the figure "2" and "CROWNS".

The first letter in the place of publication ("S") can be found at

the left of the small national coat of arms. The Governor's initials

("SI") are found to the right of the small national coat of arms.

Vignette symbol shows a stylized whirlwind.



The denomination five dollars



The coin is made of the material "Nordic gold" which consists

of the 89% copper, 5% aluminium, 5% zinc and 1% Tin. It has

23.75 millimetres in diameter and a thickness of 1.95

millimeters.



The coin's weight is 6.10 grams. When weighing 100 coins may

weight deviate up to plus/minus 6.1 g from 610 grams.



The edge is smooth.



The coin should bear the following mark: front: King Carl XVI

Gustaf's Royal Cypher, the inscription "CARL XVI GUSTAF of SWEDEN'S

KING "and in the Middle the year. Under namnchiffret

found the designer's initials "a". Back: in the middle are

the words "UNITED KINGDOM". Higher levels are found small national coat of arms and

underneath the figure "5" and "CROWNS". The words "UNITED KINGDOM" is

surrounded by symbolic waves. The first letter of the

place of publication ("S") are found to the left of the little

the national coat of arms. The Governor's initials ("SI") can be found at

the right of the small national coat of arms.



Transitional provisions



2014:84



These regulations come into force on 1 January 2015, but

intended to be applied only from 1 January 2016.
