The General Council of the Riksbank provides under Chapter 5. 1 §

Act (1988:1385) om Sveriges riksbank to bank notes by

denominations of twenty, fifty, one hundred, two hundred, five hundred

and a thousand shall have the following size, nature

and appearance.



The denomination twenty crowns



Slip is 66 mm high and 120 millimetres long.



On the front side of the banknote features a portrait of Astrid Lindgren.

To the right is a picture of Pippi Longstocking, and texts from

Astrid Lindgren's works, written in fictional

book spread. The words "TWENTY DOLLARS" can be found on the right side of the

slip the upper edge. Value numeral 20 appears in the upper

left corner of the screen, and in its lower-right corner of the screen. To the left of the

lower-value numeral can be found the small national coat of arms. In the lower

left corner says "SVERIGES RIKSBANK".



To the right of the portrait is a security element in form

of a stylized book that changes colour when you move the slip. In

left on slip form together with corresponding patterns

on the back of the banknote denomination – 20 when the banknote is held against the

The denomination of fifty dollars



Slip is 66 millimeters tall and 126 millimeters long.



On the front page is a portrait of Evert Taube. To

the left and right of the portrait are two note loops from visan

"As long as the ship can go." The text "FIFTY DOLLARS" can be found

on the right side of the top edge of the slip. Changing number 50 can be found in the

the upper left corner of the screen, and in its lower-right corner of the screen. To

the left of the lower-value numeral can be found the small national coat of arms.

In the lower left corner says "SVERIGES RIKSBANK".



To the right of the portrait is a security element in form

of a stylised sailing boat that changes colour when

slip. In this detail is also changing number 50. A

pattern on the left side of the slip form together with

the corresponding pattern on the back of the banknote denomination – 50

The paper color is off-white. Slip the theme color is yellow/orange. In

The denomination a hundred crowns



Slip is 66 mm high and 133 millimetres long.



On the front page is a portrait of Greta Garbo. To

the right is a stylized film strip. The Text "ONE HUNDRED

CROWNS "can be found on the right side of the top edge of the slip.

Changing number 100 are found in the upper left corner and in the

its lower right corner. To the left of the lower-value numeral

found small national coat of arms. In the lower left corner stands

"SVERIGES RIKSBANK".



To the right of the portrait is a security element in form

of a stylized film strip that changes color when you move the

slip. In this detail is also changing number 100. To

the left of the portrait there is a safety feature in the form of

a band with three window, which contains the symbol three

SEK. The symbol gives the impression of movement when you move the slip

and switches at the same time to the text "KR". A pattern to

left on slip form together with corresponding patterns

on the back of the banknote denomination – 100 when the banknote is held against the

the light (see-through). On the left there is a

watermark depicting Greta Garbo and the value 100.



On the flip side are a motif from Stockholm with known

buildings and natural environments as well as a stylized map of

Södermalm. On the back there is a Sweden map where

Stockholm is selected. Changing number 100 are found in upper

right corner and the bottom left corner. To the right of the

lower-value numeral rendered Södermanland and Uppland

landscape flowers, the white water-lily, respectively

King's Meadow Lily. Note the number is to the left of

changing number.



The paper color is off-white. Slip the theme color is blue. In the paper

Denomination of two hundred dollars



Slip is 66 mm high and 140 millimeters long.



On the front of the banknote has a portrait of Ingmar Bergman.

To the right is a picture from the set of the film "The

seventh seal ". The words "TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS" can be found at

right in the top of the screen. Changing number 200 is set out in

the upper left corner of the screen, and in its lower-right corner of the screen. To

the left of the lower-value numeral can be found the small national coat of arms.

In the lower left corner says "SVERIGES RIKSBANK".



To the right of the portrait is a security element in form

of a stylized clapper board that changes colour when

slip. In this detail is also changing number 200. To

the left of the portrait there is a safety feature in the form of

a band with three window, which contains the symbol three

SEK. The symbol gives the impression of movement when you move the slip

and switches at the same time to the text "KR". A pattern to

left on slip form together with corresponding patterns

on the back of the banknote denomination – 200 when the banknote is held against the

the light (see-through). On the left there is a

watermark depicting Ingmar Bergman and the value 200.



On the flip side are a natural motif from Gotland, as well as a

Sweden map where the province of Gotland is selected. Changing number

200 can be found in the top right corner and the bottom left corner.

To the right of the lower-value numeral rendered Gotland

provincial flower, Ivy. Note the number under the text

"TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS".



The paper color is off-white. Slip the theme color is green. In the paper

The value five hundred dollars



Slip is 66 mm high and 147 millimeters long.



On the front page is a portrait of Birgit Nilsson.

To the right is an image from a performance of Wagner's

Opera "Die Walküre". The words "FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS" can be found at

right in the top of the screen. Changing number 500 is to be found in

the upper left corner of the screen, and in its lower-right corner of the screen. To

the left of the lower-value numeral can be found the small national coat of arms.

In the lower left corner says "SVERIGES RIKSBANK".



To the right of the portrait is a security element in form

of a stylised treble clef that changes colour when

slip. In this detail is also changing number 500. To

the left of the portrait there is a safety feature in the form of

a band with three window, which contains the symbol three

SEK. The symbol gives the impression of movement when you move the slip

and switches at the same time to the text "KR". A pattern to

left on slip form together with corresponding patterns

on the back of the banknote denomination – 500 when the banknote is held against the

On the back is a picture of the bridge as well as a

Sweden map where the landscape Skåne is selected. Changing number

500 found in the top right corner and the bottom left corner.

To the right of the lower-value numeral rendered Skånes

provincial flower, Daisy. Note the number is to the left

over the value numeral.



The paper color is off-white. Slip the theme color is red. In the paper

The denomination a thousand crowns



Slip is 66 mm high and 154 millimetres long.



On the front page is a portrait of Dag Hammarskjöld.

To the right are the UN symbol and a picture depicting the UN

Headquarters in New York. The words "ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS" can be found

on the right side of the top edge of the slip. Changing number 1000 are found in

the upper left corner of the screen, and in its lower-right corner of the screen. To

the left of the lower-value numeral can be found the small national coat of arms.

In the lower left corner says "SVERIGES RIKSBANK".



To the right of the portrait is a security element in form

of a stylized olive branch that changes colour when

slip. In this detail is also changing number 1000. To

the left of the portrait there is a safety feature in the form of

a band with three window, which contains the symbol three

SEK. The symbol gives the impression of movement when you move the slip

and switches at the same time to the text "KR". A pattern to

left on slip form together with corresponding patterns

on the back of the banknote denomination – 1000 when the banknote is held

towards the light (see-through). On the left there is a

watermark depicting the Dag Hammarskjöld and the denomination 1

000.




On the flip side are a mountain motif from Lapland. Over

the image runs a fictional Arctic circle and the text "Measurement never

the mountain's height until you reach the top. Then you will see how low

Transitional provisions



2014:85



These regulations come into force on 1 January 2015, but

intended to be applied only from 1 January 2015 in respect

denominations of twenty, fifty, two hundred and one thousand and

from 1 January 2016 in relation to denominations of one hundred and five

hundred crowns.
