Government Announces under paragraph 5 of the Act (2006:805) on feed and animal by-products of the following provisions of the EU regulations are supplemented by the provisions of the law on animal feed and animal by-products.



The basic regulations in its entirety is supplemented by the law on animal feed and animal by-products



1. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) no 1831/2003 of 22 september 2003 on additives for use in animal nutrition.



2. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 183/2005 of 12 January 2005 laying down requirements for feed hygiene.



3. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) no 767/2009 of 13 July 2009 on the placing on the market and use of feed, amending European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) no 1831/2003 and repealing Council Directives 79/373/EEC, Commission Directive 80/511/EEC, Council Directive 82/471/EEC, 83/228/EEC, 93/74/EEC, 93/113/EC and 96/25/EC and Commission decision 2004/217/EC;



4. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) no 1069/2009 of 21 October 2009 laying down health rules as regards animal by-products and derived products not intended for human consumption and repealing Regulation (EC) No 1774/2002 (animal by-products regulation).



Because regulations are supplemented by the law on animal feed and animal by-products in the parts they contain provisions that fall within the scope of the law



5. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 of 28 January 2002 laying down the General principles and requirements of food law, establishing the European food safety authority and laying down procedures in matters of food safety.



6. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 1829/2003 of 22 september 2003 on genetically modified food and feed.



7. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) no 1830/2003 of 22 september 2003 concerning the traceability and labelling of genetically modified organisms and the traceability of food and feed products produced from genetically modified organisms and amending Directive 2001/18/EC.



8. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 882/2004 of 29 april 2004 on official controls performed to ensure the verification of compliance with feed and food law, animal health and animal welfare rules.



9. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 of 23 February 2005 on maximum residue levels of pesticides in or on food and feed of plant and animal origin and amending Council Directive 91/414/EEC.



Because regulations are supplemented by the law on animal feed and animal by-products in the parts listed in the following



10. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 999/2001 of 22 May 2001 laying down rules for the prevention, control and eradication of certain transmissible spongiform encephalopathies, as regards the



– Article 2, in so far as it falls within the scope of the law on animal feed and animal by-products,



– Article 6, in so far as it applies to the measures after testing carried out at the slaughterhouse and relating to detention pending the negative test results of products not intended for human consumption,



– Article 7,



– Article 8, of the parts falling within the scope of the law on animal feed and animal by-products,



– Article 16, in so far as it falls within the scope of the law on animal feed and animal by-products, and



– Annex XI, in the parts that are not for human consumption.



11. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 2160/2003 of 17 november 2003 on the control of salmonella and other specified food-borne zoonotic agents, in the case of



– Article 3 (2), in so far as provision covers feed,



– Article 7, in so far as provision covers feed, and



– Article 12, in the part relating to the provision of feed.



12. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 of 29 april 2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs, with regard to



– part A, paragraph 4 (a) in annex I, in so far as provision covers feed,



– part A, point 7 of the annex I, as regards such information falls within the scope of the law on animal feed and animal by-products, and



– part A, paragraph 8 (a) of Annex i.



13. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 853/2004 of 29 april 2004 laying down specific hygiene rules for food of animal origin with regard to section IV, chapter II, paragraph 4 (a), fourth paragraph, of annex III, in so far as this provision relates to the performance of official controls at the technical plant.



14. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 854/2004 of 29 april 2004 laying down specific rules for the organisation of official controls on products of animal origin intended for human consumption, with respect to



– Article 4, of the elements that are not for human consumption,



– Article 5(1)(e), in the parts that are not for human consumption,



– Article 5(1)(f), in parts that relate to such sampling falling within the scope of the law on animal feed and animal by-products,



– section I, chapter I, point 1 of Annex i, in so far as it does not relate to foods, and



– section I, chapter II, (E) in annex I, in so far as it does not relate to food.



Other regulations are supplemented by the law on animal feed and animal by-products in the parts listed in the following



15. Commission Regulation (EC) No 2075/2005 of 5 december 2005 laying down specific rules on official controls for Trichinella in meat, when it comes to



– Article 4, paragraph 2, and



– Article 12 (2) (g) (iii).
