Law & order



section 1 of this Act is to provide buyers and sellers of wood

equal opportunities to assess whether compensation for the

wood that is transferred is reasonable.



Expression in law



section 2 of this Act, the term



1. wood: trunk, stump and branches of felled trees regardless

reduction prior to industrial processing,



2. wood measuring is the determination of the quantity of timber and timber

fitness for the intended use.



The scope of the law



section 3 of this Act apply to such timber measurement is to

basis for determining the remuneration for the wood at a

transfer.



The law does not apply if the wood



1. have been left,



2. transfer to an individual for private use,



3. transferred to the trader for small-scale processing or

small-scale energy production, or



4. is transferred by one company to another company in the same

Group of companies.



Government or authority the Government determines

Announces rules on what constitutes small-scale

processing, small-scale energy production and consolidated.



Appropriations



Regulations on timber measurement



section 4 of the Government or the authority, as the Government determines

may provide for



1. with which accuracy and how wood measurement should

be carried out,



2. the obligation of the person doing the measuring of timber that for some

time save the results of the performed measurement, data on

measurement and information as a basis for

the result, and



3. obligation on the person doing the timber measurement to leave

the result of the measurement, the measurement data and

the information that forms the basis for the measurement to

sellers and buyers.



Provisions on the obligation to provide data



section 5 of the Government or the authority, as the Government determines

may provide for the obligation of the person doing

Wood measurement to the supervisory authority



1. notify their activities, and



2. Please provide information on the activities being pursued.



Provisions on self-monitoring



section 6 of the Government or the authority, as the Government determines

may provide for the obligation of the person doing

Wood measurement to



1. systematically and efficiently verify that

Wood measurement under this law are the regulations that have

a court in connection with the Act, and



2. for some time saving the results of examinations carried out and

the information that forms the basis of the results.



Supervision



Supervisory authority



section 7 of The Government authority determines

(the regulator) of the regulations

a court in connection with the Act.



The right to information and access



section 8 of the supervisory authority has to the extent necessary

to play a supervisory role in relation to the right to



1. at the request of information and documents, and



2. get access to areas, facilities and other facilities

related to the timber measurement and where do

examinations and taking samples.



The right of access does not apply to housing.



Injunctions and prohibitions



section 9, the regulatory authority may inform the injunctions and

ban needed to this Act or the regulations

a court in connection with the law should be followed.



VITE



section 10 of the Injunctions and prohibitions may be subject to a penalty.



Appeal



section 11 of the decision of the supervisory authority under this Act may

be appealed to the General Administrative Court.



Leave to appeal is required in the case of appeal to the administrative court.
