Introductory provisions



Article 1 this regulation lays down provisions on experimentation with qualification for admission to the teacher and pre-school teacher training.



section 2 of the regulation applies for admission to the teacher and pre-school teacher training starting from 1 August to 31 december 2016 at the universities and high schools after the application has been designated to participate in the experiment.



3 § With teacher and pre-school teacher education under this regulation such training that leads to grades, teacher students and preschool teacher degree according to annex 2 of the higher education Ordinance (1993:100). A participating university or a participating College may determine which courses that lead to any of these exams to be covered by the experiment.



The relevant provisions in the higher education Ordinance



4 of the higher education Ordinance (1993:100) apply to issues of access to education, unless otherwise provided for by this regulation.



Aptitude assessment at admission



§ 5 an assessment of the suitability of teachers or preschool teaching profession should be made before deciding on admission to a training within the scope of this regulation. With assessment of fitness for teachers or preschool teachers ' profession ' means an assessment of the candidate's fitness for the future professional practice.



University and College Council may provide for what is meant by fitness for the future professional practice.



A university or a College may provide for how the assessments will be carried out.



Basic permissions



section 6, in addition to the requirements set out in Chapter 7. 5 of the higher education Ordinance (1993:100) requires that an applicant should be considered as appropriate for teachers or preschool teachers to have basic access to education.



A university or a College may provide for which results from a qualification required for an applicant to be considered as appropriate under the first subparagraph.



Selection



section 7 of the selection criteria is



1. rating in conjunction with the results of the aptitude assessment, and



2. results from National University in conjunction with the results from the assessment of appropriateness.



A university or a College may announce further provisions concerning the importance of seating for an aptitude assessment and selection.
