Article 8.2 of the organic law 6/2001, of 21 December, on universities, amended by organic law 4/2007, of 12 April, States that the implantation and removal of the teachings leading to degree of official character and validity throughout the national territory, shall be agreed by the autonomous community, either on a proposal from the Social Council or on its own initiative with the agreement of the concerned Council , in any case following a report of the Council of management of the University.

The implementation of them teachings official comes regulated by the Real Decree 1393 / 2007, of 29 of October, modified by the Real Decree 861 / 2010, of 2 of July (Bulletin official of the State 03-07-2010), by which is sets the management of them teachings University official and by the Decree 11 / 2009, of 20 of January, of implementation and suppression of them teachings University official leading to the obtaining of them titles of grade , Master and doctorate.

The Council of universities of the Ministry of education, in accordance with the provisions of article 25.7 of Royal Decree 1393 / 2007, of October 29, and upon receipt of the evaluation report of ANECA, National Agency for quality assessment and accreditation, resolves to positively verify the proposal of teachings of the Master's degree in classical world presented by the University of the Basque country / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea.

He Real Decree 861 / 2010, of 2 of July (Bulletin official of the State of 3 of July of 2010), in the article 26.3, sets that once the Government has approved the character official of the title, the Rector of the University will order publish the plan of studies in the Bulletin official of the State and in the daily official of the corresponding Community autonomous.

By order of September 1, 2011, of the Minister of education, universities and research published in the official bulletin of the Basque country on September 12, 2011, authorises the implantation of official master's College of the University of the Basque country / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea and, by agreement of the Council of Ministers of 16 December 2011 published by judgment of 21 December 2011 of the General Secretariat of universities (Official Gazette of January 7, 2012), establishes the official nature of the same.

Therefore, in application of the aforementioned article 26.3 of Royal Decree 1393 / 2007, of October 29, in the wording given in the Royal Decree 861/2010, and once established the official nature of the Master's degree in classical world resolve: order the publication in the Official Gazette of the curriculum of a Master's degree in classical world that are taught in the University of the country Basque/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, in the terms contained in the annex to the present resolution.
