Royal Decree 2355/2004, of 23 December 2004, regulates the structure and functions of the Advisory Council on the Environment, a collegiate body that aims at the participation and monitoring of general environmental policies. oriented towards sustainable development.
The Environment Advisory Board is attached for administrative purposes to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment.
As a result of the modification operated under Royal Decree 1823/2011 of 21 December, restructuring the ministerial departments, the Royal Decree 1887/2011 of 30 December 2011, for which it is established the basic organic structure of the ministerial departments, and the Royal Decree 401/2012, of 17 February, for which the basic organic structure of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment is developed, is appropriate to adapt the Composition of the Environment Advisory Board.
In its virtue, on the proposal of the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Environment, with the prior approval of the Minister of Finance and Public Administrations, and after deliberation of the Council of Ministers at its meeting of the 4th day of May 2012,
DISPONGO:
Single item. Amendment of Royal Decree 2355/2004 of 23 December on the structure and functions of the Advisory Council for the Environment.
Article 3 (2) of Royal Decree 2355/2004 of 23 December 2004 is worded as follows:
" 2. An alternate shall be appointed for each of the members of the Advisory Board. The Secretary of State for the Environment shall act as an alternate for the President. "
Single end disposition. Entry into force.
This royal decree will enter into force on the day following its publication in the "Official State Gazette".
