The Technical Regulation on the Control and Certification of Cereal Seeds, approved by Order ARM/3368/2010 of 27 December, establishes the requirements that must be fulfilled in the process of production of cereal seeds, Council Regulation (EC) No 625/2004 of 14 June 1996 laying down the conditions for the marketing of cereal

.

This Council Directive 66 /402/EEC of 14 June has been amended by Commission Implementing Directive 2012/1/EU of 6 January 2012 amending Annex I to Council Directive 66 /402/EEC as amended by Council Directive 66 /402/EEC of 14 June 2012. concerning the conditions to be met by the cultivation of "Oryza sativa".

This rule incorporates the Commission's Implementing Directive 2012/1/EU of 6 January 2012 into the internal legal order through the corresponding amendment of the Technical Control and Certification Regulation of the European Union. Grain seeds.

In the preparation of this provision, the Autonomous Communities and the representative entities of the sectors concerned have been consulted.

In its virtue, according to the State Council, I have:

Single item. Modification of the Technical Regulation of Control and Certification of Cereal Seeds, approved by the Order ARM/3368/2010, of December 27.

The Technical Regulations for the Control and Certification of Cereal Seeds, approved by the Order of the Ministry of the Environment and Rural and Marine, of 27 December 2010, are amended in the following terms:

One. In Annex 1, the title of the fourth observation, as well as its first paragraph, is replaced by the following:

" Fourth. -Plants of other varieties: In rice seed production plots the number of plants recognizable as manifestly wild or of red grain shall not exceed:

0 for base seed production.

1 per 100 m² for the production of first and second generation certified seed. "

Two. In Annex 1, the text of the sixth observation is replaced by the following:

"Sixth. -Infected plants: They are considered to be infected plants under attack by coal (" Ustillake spp. ") in the fields of production of wheat seed, barley and oats, and by helmintosporosis ("Helminthoporium spp.") for barley and rice, as well as for "Piricularia oryzae" in rice.

In the case of rye, the number of sclerotic sclerotia ("Purpurea Claviceps") shall not be greater than one per square metre, in all categories.

Fields may be approved with percentages greater than those shown in the table at the request of the Entity, provided that prior to the sealing of the seed they have been treated with products of recognized efficacy.

In the fields of rice seed production, the number of plants recognizable as manifestly infected by "Fusarium fujikuroi" shall not exceed:

2 per 200 m² for base seed production.

4 per 200 m² for the production of certified first generation seed.

8 per 200 m² for the production of certified second generation seed. "

Final disposition first. Incorporation of European Union law.

By this order, the Commission's Implementing Directive 2012/1/EU of 6 January 2012 amending Annex I to Council Directive 66 /402/EEC of 6 January 2012 on the protection of the health of the European Union is incorporated into Spanish law. conditions to be met by the cultivation of "Oryza sativa".

Final disposition second. Entry into force.
