TEXT

Physical training and sports practice are aspects that have always been linked to the military profession as they are intimately linked to the development of their activity. Obtaining certain physical capabilities and their subsequent maintenance allow members of the Armed Forces to be in the best position for the execution of the missions and tasks entrusted to them.

Article 8.3 of the Regulation on the entry and promotion and management of training in the Armed Forces, approved by Royal Decree 35/2010, of 15 January, provides that in the selection processes for the training of the training lessons shall be verified by means of medical examinations and psychological and physical tests which the applicant possesses the necessary psycho-physical fitness and which the Minister of Defence shall determine the physical tests to be carried out for entering the different military training centres of training, being a condition essential for the entry to have been declared fit in them.

Order PRE/2784/2007 of 25 September, amending the physical evidence to be carried out by pupils in the field of military training, was an important step forward in this field, as a single article, in a single a coherent system, with logical progressions based on the time spent in each course on physical training and where differentiated marks were already established on the basis of sex, thus giving effective compliance to the principles which were are provided for in Organic Law 3/2007 of 22 March for the effective equality of women and men, It is also important to provide students and training centres with an overview of the physical skills to be acquired by students during the training period. Prior to that order, the regulatory regulation of the selection processes was dispersed in each of the calls.

It is now to reflect in a single text the whole process to which the aspirant and the student will be subjected, from the entrance to the access to the corresponding scale, allowing all those who choose to enter the The Armed Forces know in advance their possibilities and expectations of improvement in terms of physical training.

Both moments, income and training, make it necessary that, in the selection processes, the physical tests and the marks to be overcome in each one are in accordance with those that are subsequently to be reached overcome the curricula and thus achieve consistent progressions in the physical form of the student, who graduate to the minimum required for access to the scale.

The evidence chosen is a consequence of the extensive experience that has been available in this field since its implementation and the necessary reviews of the trade marks have been carried out, with the specific differences between women and men. For the calculation of the difference between the marks of men and women for each of the tests, account has been taken of the reports which have been made by experts in the field, both in the civil and military fields, mainly based on in the existing statistics for those tests which are the same as those chosen to carry out the selection process and for the improvement of the curricula, applying the necessary corrective percentage. For the determination of the tests and marks to measure the power of the higher train, the relative reports as regards the differences between the sexes in the muscle mass of the upper extremities have also been present.

In the case of the Common Corps of the Armed Forces, it is considered sufficient that the levels of physical fitness to be exceeded for access to the scale are at least those required in the corresponding selective process since, the uniqueness of the training centres and the characteristics of their future professional roles, an improvement in the physical condition is not considered necessary.

With respect to the troops of the troops and marineria, given the material complexity involved in carrying out a process of continuous selection, it is considered necessary to maintain for the income those that are determined in the (a) for the purposes of this Regulation, the Commission shall, in accordance with Article 4 (1) of Regulation (EU) No 506\f1s

provide for the necessary measures to be taken in accordance with Article 4 (1)
