The constant evolution of information and communication technologies makes it necessary to adapt the policies of the promotion and dissemination of the Spanish dramaturgy to the new needs and means available, in particular the edition and electronic publication of dramatic texts. Thanks to the non-exclusive assignment of the rights to the award-winning work, the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music will be able to edit and publish the award-winning text through the Portal of the Theater Documentation Center.

Amendments are also introduced which favour the simplification of the procedure, in particular the submission of the application to the authorisation for the instructor to be automatically entitled to the procedure, by electronic means, the certificates of compliance with the tax and social security obligations.

One. Article 1 is worded as follows:

" The purpose of this Order is to establish the regulatory basis for the award, under competitive competition, of the Theatre Award for Authors Noveles '' Calderón de la Barça '', which is designed to distinguish the work a novel, original theme, and whose duration is the normal of a complete dramatic show, not admitting short pieces of theatre. The Prize shall be convened on an annual basis. "

Two. Article 2 (1) is worded as follows:

" The authors of novels, Spaniards and nationals of other states of the European Union or the European Economic Area may participate in the call for the Prize. The theatrical works may be presented in any of the official languages of Spain.
