ANNEX

Structure of the teachings

The curriculum has been structured in subjects and, within them by subjects, considering that this is the academic teaching/learning unit that best fits the homogeneity of the proposed Degree, and in its design Royal Decree 1393/2007 on basic matters has been taken into account. The general structure of the teachings leading to the Degree in Computer Engineering, taking into account the character of the subjects and their content in ECTS credits, is collected in the following table.

The subjects of optional subjects are organized in two different terms and a bag of generic electives. Each mention is made up of eight subjects that make up 48 ECTS credits. In this way, the student is offered the possibility of choosing a mention of the two, and must make the 48 ECTS credits of this mention. In addition to the 48 ECTS of the mention students must exceed 12 ECTS of optional subjects, either with subjects from the other mentions, or with subjects from the generic optional bag.

In order to study the subjects of optional subjects, in each academic year the university will make a sufficient offer of subjects, which will allow all its students to exceed the 48 ECTS credits provided for them. Students who so request may choose to perform the external practical subject of 12 ECTS instead of two subjects from the generic optional bag.

In addition, students, in accordance with the rules in force, may request the recognition of a maximum of 6 ECTS credits in optional subjects for participation in university activities. cultural, sports, student representation, solidarity and cooperation.

The distribution of subjects in the curriculum complies with the suggestions included in the White Paper for the Degree of Computer Science as shown in the following table:
