ANNEX

Structure of the teachings

The curriculum has been structured in subjects and, within them by subjects, considering that this is the academic teaching/learning unit that best fits the homogeneity of the proposed Degree, and in its design Royal Decree 1393/2007 on basic matters has been taken into account. The general structure of the teaching courses leading to the Degree in Engineering of Telecommunications Technologies and Services, taking into account the character of the subjects and their content in ECTS credits, is collected in the following table.

In total, the compulsory subjects of the curriculum add up to 96 ECTS credits, 84 credits of compulsory subjects common to the telecommunications branch and 12 credits of compulsory subjects defined by the University.

The degree consists of two specific technologies, "Telematics" and "Telecommunication Systems", so that the student will have to opt for one of them in order to complete the degree. In other words, in order to obtain a degree, at least one of the terms must be given in full. Each of the entries consists of 48 ECTS credits required for such specific technology, as set out in Order CIN/352/2009. These 48 ECTS credits are obtained in both cases by 8 subjects of each specific technology, with 6 ECTS credits each, of a mandatory character within their specific technology. These two specific technologies are offered for corresponding to the areas of greatest employability at the current national and international level, as reflected in point 2 of this memory. The composition of the mentions, as far as subjects are concerned to obtain each one, is as follows:

• Mention in Telematics: The eight subjects (48 ECTS) must be cured to achieve this mention.

• Mention in Communication Systems: The eight subjects (48 ECTS) must be cured to achieve this mention.
