He article 69 of the text consolidated of the law of ports of the State and of the Marina merchant, approved by Real Decree legislative 2 / 2011, of 5 of September, establishes that the Ministry of promotion will determine in them ports of ownership state an area of service that will include them spaces of land and water necessary for the development of them uses port to is concerns the article 72.1 of this law , reserve spaces that guarantee the possibility of development of port activities and those that may be linked to the interaction between applications mentioned in that article. This determination is made through the order Ministerial of delimitation of those spaces and uses port.

The delimitation of the area of service terrestrial of the port of Vigo existing currently is it corresponding to the fourth project reformed of the area of service of the port of Vigo, approved by order Ministerial of 15 of April of 1992, except in it relative to those land that have been allowances subsequently by orders Ministerial of 6 of June of 2003 July 30, 2004, 29 November 2004, on July 20, 2009, and November 17, 2009.

The delimitation of the waters in the port of Vigo area was established by Ministerial order of December 23, 1966. Subsequently, by virtue of Royal Decree 3214/1982, of 24 July, on transfer of functions and services of the administration of the State to the autonomous community of Galicia in the field of ports, were transferred to the autonomous community various areas of water. Also, by orders Ministerial of 20 of July of 2009, 15 of July of 2011 and 9 of October of 2012, were disaffected different spaces of water of it area of service of the port of Vigo, between which is found them polygons of mejilloneras of them districts marine of Cangas, Redondela and Vigo.

The time elapsed since the adoption of the «fourth project renovated the service area of the port of Vigo', makes it necessary to update the delimitation of this area of service to the needs of the port of Vigo, at the present time, as well as the allocation of applications supported in each of the areas of the port.

That is why, in order to comply with provisions of the referred Article 69 of the text revised from the law of Puertos del Estado and the merchant marine, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2011, the Board of Directors of the port authority of Vigo agreed, at its session held on 11 may 2012, the beginning of the process of delimitation of spaces and uses port of the port of Vigo.

The present delimitation not proposed the involvement of new spaces of Earth. On the other hand, proposes the deallocation of the public port domain for a high number of plots, most of which correspond to sections of coast unnecessary for port activity, which, once disaffected, to the use of the terrestrial public.

Assigned applications remain, in General, the current zoning of the port of Vigo, dividing the port mainly in five areas, according to the municipality where they are located: Vigo and Redondela, Vilaboa, Moaña and Cangas.

The General direction of sustainability of the coast and the sea reported favorably the proposal, provided that will pick up the conditions set out in its report. In his virtue, a proposal the President of Puertos del Estado, with the agreement of the Secretary of State for infrastructure, transport and housing, and the port authority of Vigo, fulfilled the formalities required by the legislation in force, I have: first. Second. Delimitation of the area of service land.

Sport port use. This use is assigned to the maritime Liceo de Bouzas nautical facilities, the Galician Federation of sailing facilities and a small area located to the West of the football field.

Use linked to the interaction between. Is assigns this use to the area of contact with the edge urban to both sides of the road of access to the area port of Bouzas, from the roundabout of them anchors, in them vicinity of them facilities of the Liceo maritime of Bouzas, including them facilities sports and them esplanades and buildings dotacionales existing in the area, until the ride that borders it terminal of ferries in its side West , extending it along the said walk. This use is extends in the zone of parking existing facing the concession of Galiciamar, S.L. The 245 m2 located to the this in the field of football existing, are compatible with the use port sport.

Area of Beiramar: use port add-on. This use is assigned to the areas where they are currently located concessions of shipyards and slipways, located in the first section of the Beiramar Avenue and the main road of access and distribution.

Port use complementary and linked to the port-city interaction, compatibility contract. Area of rivers-Teis: use port add-on. This use is assigned to the entire area, except the existing beaches and the area between the wastewater treatment of wastewater and Arealonga beach.

This use is assigned to the facilities and docks of all companies in the area, mainly engaged in the construction and ship repair, both in the area of Domaio, from black tip, to the eastern end of the beach of Mouro; as in the area of brass, between the West end of the Terminal Beach and the western end of the pier adjacent to land granted in concession to the shipyards of Rodman, on the beach of brass; and in the area of Meira, between the land occupied by the concession granted in punta Arroas, to AISTER, and the land occupied by the Axunqueira shipyards, to the South of the beach do Cocho.

Port use. Reserve space. The stretch of coastline located in the area of Meira is proposed as reserve space, between the concession to shipyards Axunqueira, South of the beach Cocho, and section 396 of the demarcation «Municipality of Vilaboa Municipal District of Cangas», approved by Ministerial order of July 17, 2007.

Use port sport. It assigns this use to the pontoons floating existing in the area. These do not count as surface.

Use linked to the interaction between. Is assigned this use to the paseo of Domaio, to the muellecito of brass and to the rest of stretch of coast of brass.

Term municipal de Cangas: use port add-on. Is assigned to the area where is located them facilities current of the concession granted to refrigerators of the Morrazo, as well as to the breakwater of coat located in the part South of the dock and to it surface existing between both.
