With regard to the configuration of the optativity, three routes are established that lead to profiles in:

a) Software Engineering.

To obtain this profile, the student must take 30 ECTS corresponding to the itinerary. 60% of them on computing for mobile devices, comprehensive and automated information systems for the company and person-machine interaction. The remaining 40% of ECTS can be completed with contents of different subjects related to the previous ones, with external practices suitable for this itinerary and with 6 credits for recognition of other activities.

b) Computer Systems.

To obtain this profile, the student must take 30 ECTS corresponding to the itinerary. 60% of them on installation, maintenance and configuration of computer systems, administration of systems managers of databases and installation, configuration and administration of communications devices in networks. The remaining 40% of ECTS can be completed with contents of different subjects related to the previous ones, with external practices suitable for this itinerary and with 6 credits for recognition of other activities.

c) Knowledge Management.

To obtain this profile, the student must take 30 ECTS corresponding to the itinerary. 60% of them on basic algorithms for intelligent systems, knowledge engineering and applications to the company. The remaining 40% of ECTS can be completed with contents of different subjects related to the previous ones, with external practices suitable for this itinerary and with 6 credits for recognition of other activities.

However, the student will be able to obtain the optional credits required in the curriculum by choosing freely between the optional subjects offered, i.e. without linking to a particular itinerary.
