The most representative organizations in the construction sector, continuing with their responsibility and taking into account the special difficulties that the Spanish economy has experienced during the last few years Our sector, they consider it appropriate to put in value the V General Convention of the Sector of the Construction (V CGSC) reflecting the economic increases of the year 2015, insisting on the necessity to adapt all the salary tables of the Provincial conventions as marked by the V CGSC.

Also during the year 2014 an important effort has been made, mainly by companies, increasing the share of the Construction Work Foundation up to 0.35 per 100, in line with the commitment they have Employers and workers in the sector with the Foundation, training and the improvement of the skills of workers in the sector.

Continuing along the same austerity line as the Convention's negotiators, and given that private labor contracts are practically paralyzed and public bidding-state, regional and local-is very low. It is essential to moderate the debate on wage increases until the activity of the industry in Spain is further promoted; in short, when the commitment of the social partners has a correlative of the public authorities, consolidating the assumption of the principle that without the construction sector you cannot leave the crisis . In this sense, a call is made again for the special difficulties that companies and workers are going through, which has brought about the latest reforms in labor matters in order to maintain the commitments already made. in the V CGSC and the need to revitalize the public work as an essential part of our recovery.

It is intended to demand from the public administrations this commitment to the sector and legislation that gives legal certainty in order to determine the costs of companies and a legal system that prevents the unexpected or increases in the cost of contributions or pay in an indirect way that prevents the social partners, legitimate representatives of employers and workers, from habitually developing in the field of collective bargaining to give stability to the sector.
