In compliance with the agreements adopted by the Central Commission for the exploitation of the Tajo-Segura Aqueduct at a meeting held on April 1, 2015, the Directorate General for Water, dated May 5, 2015, has issued a report Proposal on the situation of the Tagus header reservoirs, which states that the volume of stocks effective in the set of Entrepenas-Buendia reservoirs, as of 1 May 2015 is 547.785 hm3, therefore, according to with the provisions laid down in the additional provision fifteenth, ' Rules of operation of the transfer Tajo-Segura ", of Law 21/2013, of December 9, of environmental assessment, has been found to be in a situation of level 3, of exceptional hydrological situations.

In exceptional hydrological situation, as provided for in point 2 of the additional provision 15th of Law 21/2013 of 9 December, of environmental assessment, when the hydrological conditions of level 3 are met, the It is up to the Minister who has responsibility for water matters to be allowed to do so, following a report from the Central Committee on Exploitation. In this level 3 situation, as set out in Article 1 of Royal Decree 773/2014 of 12 September 2014, approving various regulatory standards for the transfer by the Tajo-Segura aqueduct, it is for the competent body, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment, the authorization, on a discretionary and motivated basis, of a monthly volume of up to 20 hm3/month.

In line with the agreement of the Central Commission on Exploitation of 1 April 2015, the exceptional hydrological situation, level 3, in May 2015, and in line with the report and proposal issued on 5 May 2015, was confirmed. Hydrological year, in accordance with the provisions of the additional provision 15th, paragraph 2, of the Law 21/2013, of 9 December, of environmental assessment, and the provisions of Article 1 of Royal Decree 773/2014 of 12 September, approving various regulatory standards for the transfer by the Tajo-Segura aqueduct, which is determined:

Authorize a transfer from the Entrepenas-Buendia reservoirs through the Tajo-Segura aqueduct, 20 hm3 for the month of May 2015.
