The Royal Decree-Law 1/2013 of 25 January extending the programme for the professional retraining of persons who exhaust their protection for unemployment and other urgent measures for employment and protection (ii) the social dimension of the unemployed persons, in their second supplementary provision, provides for the automatic extension of the duration of the said programme for successive periods of six months, provided that the unemployment rate is higher than 20% according to the last active population survey published prior to the date of the extension.

The unemployment rate published in the active population survey for the second quarter of 2015 has been 22.37 percent, which is more than 20 percent, as a result of this, in application of the aforementioned Royal Decree-Law 1/2013, of 25 percent. January, the validity of the said programme shall be extended for six months.

Taking into account the situation above, the General Directorate of the State Employment Service, under the powers conferred by the Single Article, paragraph 13, of Royal Decree-Law 23/2012 of 24 August 2012, and by the The fourth final provision of Royal Decree-Law 1/2013 of 25 January 2013, considers that the resolution of 1 August 2013 of the State Employment Public Service, determining the form and time-limits for the submission of applications and of the processing of the accompanying economic aid included in that programme.

By virtue of such enablement, this resolution is dictated.

Article 1. Extension of the Resolution of 1 August 2013, as amended by the Resolution of 30 July 2014, of the State Public Employment Service.

It is extended for a period of six months from 16 August 2015, the validity of the Resolution of 1 August 2013, as amended by the Resolution of 30 July 2014, of the State Employment Public Service, for which the form and time-limits for the submission of applications and the processing of the accompanying financial aid included in the programme for the retraining of persons who have exhausted their unemployment protection extended by the Royal Decree-law 1/2013 of 25 January.

The same shall apply to persons who are unemployed because of the extinction of their employment relationship and who are registered as jobseekers in the Employment Offices, which, within the period from 16 August 2015 to 15 years, February 2016, both inclusive, deplete the unemployment benefit of the contributory level and do not have the right to any of the unemployment benefits established in the recast text of the General Law of Social Security, approved by Real Legislative Decree 1/1994 of 20 June, or have exhausted any of these subsidies, including their extensions, and meet the rest of the requirements set out in Royal Decree-Law 23/2012 of 24 August.

Article 2. Replacement of Annex I.

Annex I, concerning the "Application for accompanying economic aid, set out in Royal Decree-Law 23/2012 of 24 August, extended by Royal Decree-Law 1/2013 of 25 January 2013", is replaced by the one set out in the Annex to this resolution.

Single end disposition. Entry into force.

This resolution shall enter into force on the day following its publication in the "Official State Gazette", producing effects from 16 August 2015.
