Regulation (EU) No 1379/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2013 on the common organisation of the market in fishery and aquaculture products Council Regulations (EC) No 1184/2006 and (EC) No 1224/2009 and repealing Council Regulation (EC) No 104/2000, as laid down in Chapter IV of Council Regulation (EC) No 104/2000, provide for information to the consumer, laying down in Article 37 the obligation of the Member States to members to draw up and publish a list of the trade names accepted in their respective territories, together with their scientific names.

Article 37 also provides that any amendment to the list of trade names accepted by a Member State on its territory must be notified immediately to the Commission, which shall inform the Commission thereof. the other Member States.

During the year 2015 new species have been marketed in our market, as well as the simplification of the list, all of this makes it necessary to review the Resolution of 26 February 2015, of the General Secretariat Fisheries for which the list of trade names of fishery and aquaculture species admitted in Spain is established and published in order to include the new amendments adopted and approved by the Commission Commercial Fish Species in Spain and by the General Subdirectorate of Pesquera Economy.

For all the above, and on a proposal from the General Secretariat for Fisheries Economics, this General Secretariat for Fisheries, resolves:

First.

1. Establish the list of trade names of fishery species admitted in Spain.

2. The trade name shall be deemed to be an official name throughout the national territory. However, the different meanings of the commercial names listed and which have been recognized by the Autonomous Communities will be complementary to that one.

Second.

Give advertising to the list of commercial denominations of fishing species admitted in Spain by publication in the "Official State Gazette" as the only annex to this Resolution, which replaces the list in the Annex of the Resolution of 26 February 2015.

Madrid, March 28, 2016. -Secretary General of Fisheries Andres Hermida Tragoy.
