Article 3.3. of Royal Decree 375/2001 of 6 April, approving the Statute of the Institute of Health Carlos III, points out among its functions, the training, improvement and specialization of the staff, both sanitary as non-sanitary, in the field of health and administration and health management.

In compliance with the indicated function, the Carlos III Health Institute is offering a catalogue of courses to the users who request it. Similarly, through collaboration agreements, training activities are carried out by external institutions, aimed at certain groups with an interest in health training and other disciplines related to health. field.

The resolution of 17 June 2003, by the Carlos III Health Institute (BOE No. 164, of 10 July 2003) whereby private prices are established to be met by the provision of training activities in the Agency, requires their adaptation to changes in the academic criteria for post-graduate training, In particular, the accession of Spain to the European Higher Education Area, which regulates the measure of student work and study through European credits (ECTS, European Credits Transfer System), as well as the development of development of the information and communication technologies applied to education, in particular to the distance training.

Under the provisions of Article 2 (b) of Law 8/1989, of 13 April, of Public Fees and Prices, which excludes from its application the consideration of public activities subject to the rules of law Private.

In view of the above, this Address resolves:

First. Prices to satisfy.

1. The prices to be met by the Carlos III Health Institute for the training activities will be those set out in this resolution.

2. The teaching assessment unit is the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), equivalent to 25-30 hours. Establishing the amount of credit according to the following teaching modalities:

a) In-person courses:

i. Short courses (<10 ECTS): 60 euros.

ii. Diploma (de> 10 to <60 ECTS): 50 euros.

iii. Master (>=60 ECTS): 40 euros.

b) Semi-face-to-face courses:

i. Short courses (<10 ECTS): 45 euros.

ii. Diploma (de> 10 to <60 ECTS): 35 euros.

iii. Master (>=60 ECTS): 32 euros.

c) Distance courses (e-learning):

i. Short courses (<10 ECTS): 40 euros.

ii. Diploma (de> 10 to <60 ECTS): 32 euros.

iii. Master (>=60 ECTS): 30 euros.

3. The total cost of the tuition fee will be the sum of the amount of course credits or teaching action to be performed.

4. Prices to be applied in the certification and accreditation of courses and other training actions carried out by agreement or agreement of the ISCIII Directorate in collaboration with other public and private institutions that finance the cost in their totality:

(a) The amount of the teacher certification and accreditation of a course or teaching action is based on the number of ECTS, on the basis of 25 € per ECTS, with a minimum of 250 euros.

b) For each certificate-individual diploma issued with registration of accredited courses: EUR 40.

5. Reissuing of certificates and diplomas: For each reissue of certification and diploma: 20 euros.

Second. Training activities of particular interest.

Regardless of what is specified in the first paragraph, training activities of particular health or social interest may be carried out by means of a different price system, in the following cases:

(a) Courses promoted at the request of external institutions, in which the exceptionality is justified by an agreement specifying the consideration to be made to the parties.

(b) Courses with reduced or cost-free prices for reasons of training strategies of the National Health System.

Third. Training activities linked to collaboration agreements.

In collaboration agreements with other institutions, be they with the universities for the delivery of doctoral programs, official or own titles or various courses, or with other public organizations or Private, the prices to be collected by the Health Institute Carlos III, will be defined in the corresponding Convention of collaboration.

Single repeal provision. Regulatory repeal.

The Resolution of 17 June 2003, of the Directorate of the Institute of Health Carlos III, which establishes private prices to be met by the provision of teaching activities at the Institute of Health, is repealed. Carlos III.

Single end disposition. Entry into force.

This Resolution shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the "Official State Gazette".
