The species, subspecies or populations for which these administrations and institutions have requested their inclusion or modification in the List and in the Catalogue are as follows. Regarding flora: Nuphar pumila subspecies pumila, whose current situation advises that it be included in the Catalogue as endangered; the population of Cymodocea nodosa in the Canary Islands, which meets the criteria to be included in the Catalog as vulnerable given its particularity by being a grass rooted in the seabed; the species Eryngium viviparum and Centaurium somedanum, which go from being in the List to be included in the Catalog, both with the vulnerable category. For the case of fauna, the conservation status of the Unio Mancus and Margaritifera margaritifera river molluscs makes it necessary to include them in the endangered categories and the endangered respectively.

This order is issued in accordance with the final provision of Royal Decree 139/2011 of 4 February 2011, which empowers the holder of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and the Environment, in the field of its powers, to amend the Annex to that Royal Decree in order to update it and, where appropriate, to adapt it to Community legislation.
