In accordance with the provisions of Order ARM/1744/2011 of 15 June, which regulates the marine reserve of Cabo de Gata-Níjar, and defines its delimitation and permitted uses, and in the use of the powers conferred by it Article 7 thereof, which empowers the General Secretariat of Fisheries to draw up the census of professional sea fishing vessels with the right to fish in the field of the marine reserve, this General Secretariat, having heard the sector concerned, and consulted the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, resolves the following:

Publish, as an annex to this Resolution, the updated census of active vessels authorized to fish, until 31 December 2014, with minor gears in the waters of the marine reserve referred to in the Order ARM/1744/2011 of 15 June, for which the Cabo de Gata-Níjar marine reserve is regulated, and its delimitation and permitted uses are defined.

That vessels included in the previously published marine reserve censuses and which are not currently active in the Census of the Operational Fishing Fleet may be authorized to exercise the fishery in the scope of the reservation, at the shipowner's request, once they are reactivated.

Not to exercise the fishing activity in the field of the marine reserve for a period of one year without justified cause, may assume the decrease of the vessel in the census of the marine reserve, as established in the article 7.10 of that Order ARM/1744/201.
