The Ministerial Order of June 1, 1979 ("Official State Gazette" of 9) allowed the regularization of the academic situation of the students of Basic General Education who, enrolled in their day in the first course of this level Without having the statutory age, they were to complete the compulsory schooling before the provisions of the current rules, and consequently, they could not obtain the title of Escorial Graduate or continue their studies in other educational levels.

However, in spite of the provisions of the aforementioned ministerial order, the effects of which were extended by the one of 28 April 1980 to the students born in 1967, a number of them still exist in these circumstances, which in the year The academic year 1983-84 has carried out and surpassed the eighth and seventh courses of Basic General Education with a year of advance, and that, if they do not regularise their situation, they would be forced to repeat the course.

All this is a situation in which, without entering into the causes for which they were unduly enrolled in the first course of Basic General Education, the need to normalize their academic situation seems evident, as the The responsibility of the student cannot in any case be imputed to the students or, therefore, to punish them with the repetition of the course.

For all this, and in order to avoid harm to affected pupils and irregular situations in this regard,

This Ministry has provided:

First.-1. Students who in the academic year 1983-84 have completed and exceeded the eighth and seventh courses of Basic General Education with one year of advance may, in the case of one or another case, be proposed, exceptionally, for the issue of the Graduate School or authorized to perform the eighth course in the academic year 1984-85.

2. For pupils who have completed and passed the eighth Basic General Education course, the Director of the Centre shall make a proposal for the issue of the School Graduate Degree.

3. From the authorization to carry out the eighth course of Basic General Education, quoting this Order, it will be recorded in the School of School of the pupil, through comprehensive diligence of his academic situation, signed by the Director of the Center.

Second.-The students who from the academic year 1981-82 began or joined the initial cycle (first and second courses of Basic General Education) and those others that from the academic year 1982-83 began or In the middle cycle (third, fourth and fifth courses of Basic General Education), they must be in school in the cycle or course of the second stage, which for their age corresponds to them, as established in the current regulations.

Third.-The General Directorate of Basic Education will ensure, through the Inspection Services, the strict compliance with the current rules regarding the incorporation of the students to the courses that correspond to them.

Fourth.-The General Directorate of Basic Education is authorized to develop the content of this Order and to resolve any claims arising from its compliance.

Fifth.-This Ministerial Order shall enter into force on the day following its publication in the Official Journal of the State.
