Regulation (EEC) number 390/89, of the Council, of 14 February 1989, has suspended totally or partially the fixed elements of the customs duties applicable by the community of ten on imports from Spain of certain processed agricultural products which include yeasts for bread-baking.
In reciprocity with this measure the Kingdom of Spain has been suspended, by Royal Decree 446/1989 of 28 April, the fixed elements of applicable rights against Community of ten of certain products affected by the abovementioned regulation.
It should be equally applied this reciprocity to yeasts for bread-baking - subheadings 2188.8.131.52 and 2184.108.40.206 of the existing tariff of customs-, as well as to extend this suspension to such products when imported into and originate in the countries members of the European Free Trade Association.
By virtue, with the favorable report of the higher tariff Board, making use of the Faculty recognized at the Government by article 6(4) of the tariff Act, article 33 of the Act of accession of Spain to the European communities and article 6 of the additional protocols to the agreements between the EEC and each of the Member countries of the European Free Trade Association as a result of the accession of Spain and Portugal seen a proposal of the Minister of economy and finance, and after approval by the Council of Ministers of November 3, 1989.
I hereby Decree: Article 1 suspended completely fixed elements of the customs duties applicable to Ios products mentioned below, when imported into the community from ten: code NCE description of goods 21.02 yeasts (alive or dead); the other single-cell micro-organisms dead (with the exception of vaccines of heading 30.02); artificial yeast (baking powders): 2102.10 - live yeast: (...)

Article 2 members of the European Free Trade Association are suspended completely fixed elements of the customs duties applicable to the products referred to in article 1 when imported into and originating in the countries.
FINAL provision this Royal Decree shall enter into force the day following its publication in the "Official Gazette".
