Article 5.3 of Royal Decree 769/1999 of 7 May 1999 laying down detailed rules for the application of Directive 97 /23/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 May 1997 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the Member States ' legislation on pressure equipment and amending Royal Decree 1244/1979 of 4 April 1979, which approved the Regulation on pressure equipment, provides that the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism shall publish, by means of Resolution of the competent management centre in the field of industrial safety, for information purposes, references to the harmonised standards as well as the UNE standards which they transpose, updating them in the same way.

Communication 2014 /C 22/01, of the Commission, as part of the implementation of Directive 97 /23/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 May 1997 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the Under the terms of Article 5 of Royal Decree 769/1999 of 7 May 1999, the Commission has published the references of several harmonised standards, which must be communicated to the interested parties for information. Application provisions, the containers designed according to the same are presumed to be compliance with the essential requirements of that royal decree.

In its virtue, this Directorate General resolves to have the publication of harmonised standards in the field of Directive 97 /23/EC on pressure equipment, transposed into Spanish law by Royal Decree 769/1999, of 7 of May, published in the Official Journal of the European Union to date.

This publication should be understood as informative and subject to further updates, in the light of the elaboration mechanisms provided for in Article 5.3 of Royal Decree 769/1999 of 7 May, cited above.

This resolution replaces and leaves without effect the resolution of 29 October 2012, of the Directorate-General for Industry and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, which agrees to the publication of harmonised standards in the the scope of Royal Decree 769/1999 of 7 May 1999 laying down detailed rules for the application of the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council 97 /23/EC on pressure equipment.
