The approval of Law 6/1997, of April 14, of the Organization and the Functioning of the General Administration of the State, the changes introduced by Royal Decree 758/1996, of 5 May, of restructuring of Departments Ministerial, which creates the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, as well as the Royal Decrees 839/1996, of 10 May, and 1888/1996, of 2 August, on the basic organic structure of the mentioned Ministry, make it necessary to proceed to the appropriate amendment and updating of the Regulation of the Social Solidarity Civil Order, approved by the Order of 17 April 1989,

In its virtue, I have:

Single item.

The Regulation of the Civil Order of Social Solidarity, adopted by the Order of 17 April 1989, is amended as follows:

1. In relation to Article 4 of the Regulation of the Civil Order of Social Solidarity, references to the metal "gold" contained in that article on the composition of the categories of Grand Cross and the Golden Cross shall be understood as referring to " silver "supergolden", remaining in identical terms the rest of the article's content.

2. All references to the "Ministry of Social Affairs" or to the "Minister for Social Affairs", contained in the Regulation of the Civil Order of Social Solidarity, will be understood as references to the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the Minister of Social Affairs. Labour and Social Affairs, respectively.

3. References in Article 6 of the Regulation of the Civil Society of Social Solidarity to the "Civil Governors" shall be construed as references to the Government's Delegates or Subdelegates.

4. Paragraph 10 of the Rules of Procedure of the Civil Solidarity Order is worded as follows:

" The Council of the Civil Order of Social Solidarity is created, which corresponds to the corporate representation of the same.

The Council will be based in the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and will be constituted on the following charges:

Chancellor: The Minister of Labour and Social Affairs.

Vice-Chancellor: The General Secretariat for Social Affairs.

Vocals: The Director General of the Youth Institute, the Director General of the Women's Institute, the Director General of Migration and Social Services, the Director General of Migration and Director General of Social, Minor and Family Action.

Secretary: An official assigned to the Department, appointed by the Minister among those who are Deputy Director General or assimilated.

The Council shall meet as many times as convened by the Chancellor and shall be heard precept in the proposals for the expulsion of the members of the Order. "

Final disposition.

This Order shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the "Official State Gazette".
