Article 20 (1) of the Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December 1999 on the Protection of Personal Data and Article 52 of Royal Decree 1720/2007 of 21 November 2000 on the The development of the Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13, of Protection of Personal Data establishes that the creation, modification or deletion of the files of the Public Administrations can only be made by means of provision published in the Official Journal of the State or in the Official Journal concerned.

The time since the previous publication of files has determined, on the one hand, the disappearance or total transformation of these files having fulfilled the functions that justified their creation, on the other hand, the creation of new files.

Consequently, in order to comply with the legal mandate, and to ensure maximum transparency in the automated and manual processing of personal data, thus assuring citizens the exercise of their legitimate rights, I have:

First. The deletion of the personal data files included in Annex I to this Resolution is hereby declared. Those responsible for these files shall take the necessary measures to delete and destroy any number of copies of security in the same or the appropriate measures for compliance with the current regulations, as they have become obsolete or have been completely replaced or updated by others. Notification of the deletion of these files will also be made to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

Second. The creation of the files of the current Spanish Agency of International Cooperation for Development is declared which will be notified to the General Registry of the Spanish Agency of Data Protection with the characteristics described in Annex II, pursuant to Article 20 of Organic Law 15/1999.

Single repeal provision.

Any resolutions of equal or lower rank are repealed to be opposed to what is set forth herein.

Single end disposition.

This Order shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Gazette of the State.
