TEXT

The Resolution of 1 December 1995, of the then General Secretariat for Social Security, determined the territorial scope of the executive collection units in the provincial addresses of the General Treasury of the Social Security. This resolution has subsequently been amended as a result of successive enlargements in the number of such units, as well as for management needs, by means of the Resolutions of 22 July 1997, 10 May 2000, 21 December 2000, 2005, 23 February 2007 and 27 December 2007.

In this respect, the needs of the management of Social Security in the way of a prize make it convenient, at this moment, to modify also the territorial demarcation of some units of executive collection dependent on the provincial addresses of this General Treasury of Madrid and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in order to achieve greater efficiency in the performance of the functions they have attributed and an adequate balance of the charge assumed by each one of them, which is carried out through this resolution.

This resolution is dictated in accordance with the powers that this Directorate-General has vested in the effect of Article 4.2 of Order TAS/1562/2005 of 25 May 2005 laying down rules for the application and development of the General Regulation on the collection of social security, approved by Royal Decree 1415/2004 of 11 June.

In its virtue, this General Address resolves:

First.-The territorial scope of the executive collection units that are dependent on the provincial addresses of the General Treasury of the Social Security of Madrid and Santa Cruz de Tenerife will be established in the Annexes to this resolution, amending in that sense on 1 December 1995, determining the territorial scope of the units of executive collection in the provincial addresses of the General Treasury.

Second.-Amendments to the territorial scope of the postal districts and judicial parties which may be produced hereafter shall not affect the territorial demarcations set out in this resolution for the executive collection units to which it relates, unless otherwise expressly provided by this Directorate-General.

Third.-The differentiated municipalities or postal codes that may be established in the future shall be assigned to the executive collection unit expressly designated by the Director General of the General Treasury of Security Social, on a proposal from the competent provincial director, on the basis of geographical, communications, workload or any other criteria and in order to better manage them.

Fourth. -The acts and formalities of the award procedure carried out by an executive collection unit before the date of effect of this resolution and which are to be continued by another of the same provincial management of the General Treasury under the new territorial distribution that is established, will be valid and will have effects on the award procedure that follows the latter.

Fifth. This resolution shall have effect from 1 January 2010.

Madrid, December 23, 2009. -Director General of the General Treasury of Social Security, Javier Aibar Bernad.
