Obtained the verification of the curriculum by the Council of Universities, prior to the positive report of the National Agency for the Evaluation of Quality and Accreditation, and agreed on the official character of the title by means of the Council of Ministers of 17 December 2010, published in the BOE of 14 January 2011, by Resolution of the General Secretariat of Universities of 23 December 2010,

This Rectorate has resolved to publish the curriculum leading to the obtaining of the degree of Graduate or Graduate in Master in Child Education, in the branch of knowledge of Social and Legal Sciences.

The structure and planning of the Plan of Studies is due to Order ECI/3854/2007, of 27 December, establishing the requirements for the verification of official university degrees that enable the exercise of the profession of Master in Child Education (BOE of 29 December 2007). This Order provides for the possibility of proposing qualifying terms, appropriate to the objectives, cycles and areas of the Child Education that are established In Articles 13 and 14 of Organic Law 2/2006, of 3 May, of Education. In this Plan of Studies, 30 ECTS qualifying terms are proposed. The entries are submitted from the third year onwards. In order to obtain any of the qualifying terms, it is necessary that the student curse five subjects from the Optativity Module of the mention with a total of 30 ECTS.

The mentions are distributed among the three centers of the University of Salamanca that teach the Grades in the Master of Child Education (US of Education and Tourism of Avila, United States of the Magisterium of Zamora and Faculty of Education). When you arrive at the third course there is the possibility of applying for the tuition of the subjects of a mention of a centre other than that in which the rest of the Grade is cured. The entries will have a limited number of pupils. The number of seats and the selection criteria for the candidates will be published in the previous year. The three centers will organize the teaching in a way that the displacement to be done is done in the best conditions.

The student who does not want to give a mention must exceed 30 credits distributed in five optional subjects of 6 ECTS, which will be completed 2 in the third semester first semester, and 3 in the fourth semester first semester.

The mention offered by the Faculty of Education is that of Special Education. The Special Education itinerary consists of 18 common optional credits, required to obtain the mention, and 12 free optional credits, which are chosen among 18 credits of electives specially designed for the mention. In order to obtain the mention of special education, five subjects of six credits will be submitted: three common optional subjects, compulsory for the mention, and two free options, to be chosen from which each course is offered. The mentions offered by the University School of Magisterium of Zamora are two: Foreign Language: English and Foreign Language: German.

The English Foreign Language itinerary consists of 12 common optional credits, required to complete the mention, and 18 free optional credits, which are chosen from 24 optional credits specially designed for the mention. The mention of English, therefore, will have five subjects of six credits: two common optional subjects, obligatory for the mention, and three free electives, to choose between the ones offered each course. The German Foreign Language itinerary consists of 12 common optional credits, required to complete the mention, and 18 free optional credits, which are chosen from 24 optional credits specially designed for the mention. The mention of German, therefore, will have five subjects of six credits: two common optional subjects, compulsory for the mention, and three free electives, to choose between which each course is offered.

The itinerary of Music Education consists of 18 common optional credits, required to complete the mention, and 12 free optional credits, which are chosen among 18 optional credits specially designed for the mention. The mention of Music Education, therefore, will have five subjects of six credits: three common optional subjects, compulsory for the mention, and two free electives, to choose between which each course is offered.
