The Royal Decree-Law 16/2012 of 20 April, of urgent measures to guarantee the sustainability of the National Health System and improve the quality and safety of its benefits, amended Article 15.2 of Law 55/2003, of 15 December, entrusting the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality with the approval of a homogeneous catalogue where the equivalences of the professional categories of health services were established.
This homogeneous catalogue of equivalences of professional categories was approved by Royal Decree 184/2015 of 13 March, which regulates the homogeneous catalogue of equivalences of the professional categories of the statutory staff of health services and the procedure of their updating, allowing statutory staff to access vacant places in other health services, improving the quality of care and making the guarantee of their mobility throughout the National Health System, as stated in article 43 of the Law 16/2003, of 23 May, of cohesion and quality of the National Health System.
Chapter III of Royal Decree 184/2015, of 13 March, regulates the procedure for updating the catalogue, initiating this procedure with the request of an administration with powers in health care, in this Case the Department of Health of the Basque Government, to the Directorate-General for Vocational Management of the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, with the aim of including a number of professional categories in the homogeneous catalogue of equivalences of the professional categories of the statutory staff of the services of health (hereafter, the catalog).
Once revised each category equivalence proposal in accordance with the criteria set out in Article 8 of Royal Decree 184/2015 of March 13, and favorably informed of the modification promoted by the Community Autonomous of the Basque Country by the plenary of the Human Resources Commission of the National Health System on July 28, 2015, and agreed by the Interterritorial Council of the National Health System on July 29, 2015, through the This order updates the homogeneous catalogue of equivalences of the professional categories of staff statutory health services, with the inclusion of 16 new categories.
This order is issued under the provisions of Article 8 of Royal Decree 184/2015 of 13 March 2015.

Article 2. Update the catalogue in accordance with the amendments set out in the first article, which is incorporated as an Annex.
Against this order, which ends the administrative route, the replacement of the right of replacement may be brought within a period of one month from the date of its publication in the "Official State Gazette", pursuant to Articles 116 and 117 of Law No 30/1992 of 26 November 1992 on the Legal Regime of Public Administrations and the Common Administrative Procedure, in accordance with Law No 29/1998 of 13 July 1998 on the Litigation-Administrative Jurisdiction.
