The time elapsed since the adoption of the Ministerial order of 12/2004 of 6 February, by which approve the curricula of military education training to incorporate the upper scale of officers and the scale technique of officers of the body of engineers of the Navy, as well as the instruction 74/2003, of 14 may Chief of the General staff of the Navy, which approve the formation of complement military military education curricula, it highlights the need to update the curricula currently in force in accordance with Royal Decree 711/2010 of 28 may, which approves the regulation of fundamental specialties of the armed forces.

In this sense, these regulatory provisions involve the development of article 33.1 of the law 39/2007, of 19 November, military career, laying down that the members of the body of engineers in the Navy, grouped on a scale of officers and at a technical level, have as their mission the advice, application, study and research on technical matters of their specialties and of a technical or logistical nature related to the maintenance of their specialties in the scope of the Navy. Article 57.2 of the military careers Act, establishes that titles of the educational system in general, taking into account the demands technical and professional body and scale that it will access, will be required in order to access the scales of the Corps of engineers of the army officers and article 65.1 stipulates that the curricula of general and specific military education and , in his case, technique shall comply with the definition of capabilities and design of profiles for the practice established by the heads of State most of the army, the Navy and the air force, in their sphere of competence.

On the other hand, article 14 of the General guidelines for the preparation of the curricula of the teaching of training for access to the different scales of official bodies of the armed forces, approved by the order DEF/810/2015, may 4, establishes the design and content of the curriculum; and article 15, that military training curricula shall be drawn up by the heads of State most of the army, of the Navy and the air force and, in the case of public bodies, by the Undersecretary of Defense and approved by the Minister of defence.

Therefore this provision contains the professional profiles to achieve according to fields of activity in which the military will play, in the first employment, own the body engineers of the Navy's roles.

Also, the temporary planning of curricula include courses and Center where you can take, indicating the ECTS ("European Credit Transfer System") of the subjects, the matters to which they belong and the modules in which they are immersed.

Also, included are the ECTS or earlier, provided them to the students of military origin and are certain materials and subjects likely to be imparted, partially or totally, remote learning, students in a situation of pregnancy, childbirth or postpartum who may not participate in person.

Finally, refers to training in English language modules, stating that, given its importance, you can incorporate their learning in other modules through the development, in that language, of the whole or part of any of the subjects that comprise them.

Pursuant to article 68.2 of law 39/2007, of 19 November, military career, to the students in the teaching of training officers for the integration or secondment to the scale of officers and scale technique of officers of the body of engineers of the Navy, shall be granted, with any character and academic purposes, practices and remuneration , the following jobs: employment of midshipman: Once finished the first quarter of the course.

1. the Ministerial order of 12/2004 of 6 February, by which approve the plans of the military school of formation for the incorporation to the upper scale of officers and the scale technique of officers of the body of engineers of the Navy shall be repealed.

2. in addition, any provision of equal or lower rank in everything in which oppose provisions of this ministerial order is repealed.

Sole final provision. Entry into force.

1. the present Ministerial order shall enter into force the day following its publication in the "Official Gazette".

2. the curricula approving in this ministerial order will be implemented from the year 2015-2016.

Curriculum of teaching training of officers for the scale of officers and integration to the scale technique of official body of engineers in the Navy article 1. Professional profiles to reach in the first employment.

The profiles to achieve, understood as a set of related competencies; knowledge, abilities, skills, attitudes and values, are classified in two main levels: firstly, the corresponding to the profile of the official of the armed forces, individualized for the Navy and common therefore for all their bodies. This profile brings together the so-called generic competences, whose orientation is to ensure that the official future is a military that is adapted to the naval environment with an adequate capacity of command, leadership, discipline, decision, teamwork and ethical commitment to the performance of the military profession aboard different vessels, units, centres and organizations of the Navy.

Secondly, the specific profile to the body of engineers of the Navy, which includes the sum of the powers which enable the official future to develop the own of its fundamental speciality tasks associated with its first military employment in the different centers and organisms of the Navy.

Therefore, the specific competences of the official of the body of engineers in the Navy, grouped in a scale of officers (EO) and on a technical scale (ET) are advice, application, study and research on technical matters of their specialties and of a technical or logistic nature related to the maintenance of their specialties in the field of the Navy.
