Decree No. 2013 - 1283 23 September 2013 Decree No. 2013-1283 23 September 2013 on the powers of the Minister of energy.
The President of the Republic, pursuant to the Constitution;
Having regard to Decree No. 2013 - 1218 September 1, 2013 appointing the Prime Minister;
Having regard to Decree No. 2013 - 1223 of September 2, 2013 on the composition of the Government.
Having regard to Decree No. 2013-1225, 4 September 2013 on the distribution of the services of the State and control of public institutions, national companies and companies with public participation between the Presidency of the Republic, the Prime Minister's Office and ministries;
On the proposal of the Prime Minister.
Decrees: Article 1. -Under the authority of the Prime Minister, the Minister of energy prepares and implements the policy defined by the head of State in the production, distribution and promotion of energy.
It ensures the regular energy supply and their availability for households and businesses. It ensures such a regular distribution of electricity to households and production units. It implements a dynamic program of rural electrification.
Developing, in particular, of plans and programmes for saving energy and development of alternative clean energy to provide the national economy a substantial reduction in the weight of conventional forms of energy are oil, gas and coal.
It shall ensure the adequacy of the specific sources of solar, hydraulic and wind technology choices and ensures, in connection with the ministries concerned, for the promotion of scientific and technological achievements.
S. 2 - the Prime Minister and the Minister of energy are responsible, each in relation to the implementation of this Decree which shall be published in the Official Journal.
