Decree No. 2013 - 1280 23 September 2013 Decree No. 2013-1280 23 September 2013 on the powers of the Minister of trade, entrepreneurship and the informal sector.
The President of the Republic, pursuant to the Constitution;
Having regard to Decree No. 2013 - 1218 September 1, 2013 appointing the Prime Minister;
Having regard to Decree No. 2013 - 1223 of September 2, 2013 on the composition of the Government.
Having regard to Decree No. 2013-1225, 4 September 2013 on the distribution of the services of the State and control of public institutions, national companies and companies with public participation between the Presidency of the Republic, the Prime Minister's Office and ministries;
On the proposal of the Prime Minister.
Decrees: Article 1. -Under the authority of the Prime Minister, the Minister of trade of entrepreneurship and the informal sector prepares and implements the policy defined by the head of State in the areas of trade, consumption, entrepreneurship and the informal sector.
In respect of trade and consumption: it prepares and implements the laws and regulations applicable to commercial activities and, in particular, those relating to competition and prices.
It ensures that trade rules should be adapted to the size and the characteristics of companies of different sectors of the economy.
It ensures the protection of consumers, to correct of the market supply and the functioning of the distribution channels.
It promotes the transformation of local products as well as the eat local.
In conjunction with the Minister of economy and finance, he is responsible for international trade negotiations and it participates in the development and implementation of regional policies and sub-regional relating to trade with the outside world.
It ensures the development of exports of Senegal, in Africa and in the world.
On the basis of entrepreneurship and the informal sector: it develops and implements strategies for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and promotes the outbreak of entrepreneurship in Senegalese society, including accompanying the formalization and the strengthening of the capacity of the units of the informal sector.
He led policy of upgrading of SMEs and small and medium-sized Industries (SMIs) to make them more competitive.
S. 2. - the Prime Minister and the Minister of trade, entrepreneurship and the informal sector, are responsible, each in relation to the implementation of this Decree which shall be published in the Official Journal.
