Decree No. 2013 - 1277 23 September 2013 Decree No. 2013-1277 23 September 2013 on the powers of the Minister of Communication and the digital economy.

The President of the Republic, pursuant to the Constitution;

Having regard to Decree No. 2013 - 1218 September 1, 2013 appointing the Prime Minister;

Having regard to Decree No. 2013 - 1223 of September 2, 2013 on the composition of the Government.

Having regard to Decree No. 2013-1225, 4 September 2013 on the distribution of the services of the State and control of public institutions, national companies and companies with public participation between the Presidency of the Republic, the Prime Minister's Office and ministries;
On the proposal of the Prime Minister.

Decrees: Article 1. -Under the authority of the Prime Minister, the Minister of Communication and the digital economy prepares and implements the policy defined by the head of State in the fields of the post Communication, Telecommunications, technology, Information and Communication and the digital economy.

It responsible for the development and modernization of the means of information. It contributes to the protection of press freedom and promotes access to pluralist information.
It ensures the protection of consumers against the unhealthy content.

It facilitates the development and dissemination of audiovisual creation and can establish partnerships with foreign organizations and international institutions.
It ensures the development of a widely accessible to all audiences, performance telecommunications sector.

It is responsible to federate development of contents and digital penetration initiatives, as well as to expand the coverage of the Internet and new services throughout the national territory.
It ensures the development and the functioning of the public postal service. He is responsible for the proper routing of mail throughout the national territory.

Excluding the tasks assigned to the Telecommunications Regulatory Agency and positions, and the State Information Agency, it ensures the implementation of a policy favouring the promotion of information and communication technologies.

S. 2. - the Prime Minister and the Minister of Communication and the digital economy are loaded, each in relation to the implementation of this Decree which shall be published in the Official Journal.
