Department of COMMERCE Decree No. 2010-1465 dated November 8, 2010 order No. 2010-1465 dated 8 November 2010 on the approval of consumer associations.
Consumer associations regularly formed under the conditions laid down in the laws and regulations in force are approved by order of the Minister in charge of trade for a renewable term of five years.
S. 2. - the application for approval is addressed to the Minister responsible for trade by the President of the Association or a member duly authorised for this purpose.
The filing of an application for approval gives rise to a receipt.
S. 3 - cannot be accredited as associations established two years at least before the date of application for registration.
S. 4. - the application for authorisation is accompanied by:-of the receipt of the prior declaration of the association;
-statutes of the association, in duplicate;
-from the list of the members of the bureau of the association with indication of names, first names and professions;
-by a certificate of banking domiciliation.
S. 5. - the Minister responsible trade has a period of three months from the date of filing of the application for follow-up. After this time, the lack of response is worth approval.
S. 6 - the authorization may be withdrawn in the following cases:-in case of serious dysfunctions observed in the administrative and financial management of the association;
-in the case of exercise of activities contrary to the goals in the statutes of the association;
-in the case of amendments to articles resulting in the change of the object of the association.
S. 7 - approved consumer associations have the right to enter any public body whose activity is related to issues of competition and consumption.
Thus certified associations can also benefit from grants and financial assistance on the part of the State or its dismemberments in accordance to the provisions relevant Decree No. 76-199 of 17 February 1976 laying down the conditions for granting and withdrawal of recognition of public utility associations.
S. 8 - Minister of State, Minister of the Interior, the Minister of State, keeper of the seals, Minister of Justice, the Minister of State, Minister of economy and finance and the Minister of Commerce shall be responsible, each in relation to the implementation of this Decree which shall be published in the Official Journal.
