REPUBLIC OF SAN MARINO LAW December 17, 2004 173 REPUBLIC OF SAN MARINO ESTABLISHMENT OF AN OFFICE FOR INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC RELATIONS We the Captains Regent of the Most Serene Republic of San Marino Promulgate and publish the following law approved by the Great and General Council at its meeting on 17 December 2004. Art. 1 in order to better support with organic unity and continuity, the economic internationalization process of the Republic of San Marino and in order, also, to be supportive to the Government, subject to the full centrality of the Department of Foreign Affairs in its institutional implementation of the activities of foreign policy aimed at concluding bilateral and multilateral agreements, it is established the Uffico for International Economic Relations. The Office for International Economic Relations is entrusted with the tasks set out in article 2. Art. 2 The Office for International Economic Relations has the task of contributing, in cooperation with the competent departments of the departments concerned, to the enhancement of relations International economic Relations of the Republic of San Marino deepening and concretizing aspects of competence, such as international agreements on co-operation, trade, double taxation, with tax issues, tax, customs, contractual. The office also has the task of drawing up projects, studies, and, on behalf of the State Congress, negotiate international agreements-economic and fiscal. The negotiations for economic and fiscal policy, in addition to the Office for International Economic Relations, participate, to the extent of its authority, the officials from the Department of Foreign Affairs and other departments from time to time interested. The members of the Board are appointed by the Congress government at the proposal of the Secretariat of State for Foreign and Political Affairs, for Finance and Budget and Industry, Craft, Trade and Economic Co-operation and their relationship work will be adjusted or a futures contract or professional services which may be renewed. Charges resulting from the contracts mentioned above are recorded on 02/01/1770 Chapter '' salaries and allowances to personnel of the Department of Foreign Affairs ''. Art. 4 The Office for Relations International Economic ècollocato, for administrative purposes, as part of the Department of Foreign Affairs and continuously interacts with the Secretaries of State for Foreign and Political Affairs, for Finance, the Budget, for ' industry, Handicraft, Trade, and Economic Cooperation. Pending that, as part of the reorganization of the services of the state offices, is determined an organic framework for the Office for International Economic Relations, that office will use the staff already employed by the Public Administration. This will not prejudice the functions of the Department of Foreign Affairs Departments or constitute a limit to the necessary completion. Art. 5 This Law shall enter into force on the fifteenth day following that of its legal publication.
