We the Captains Regent of the Most Serene Republic of San Marino

In view of article 4 of the Constitutional Law no.185 / 2005 and Article 6 of the
Qualified Law n.186 / 2005;
We promulgate and send for publishing the following ordinary law approved by
Great and General Council at its meeting of 26 September 2006

ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMISSION OF INQUIRY ON ALLEGED Council Chamber
CONDUCT REGARDING THE POSSIBLE OPENING OF A HOUSE FROM PLAYING IN SAN MARINO


Art. 1

In accordance with the agenda approved by the Great and General Council on 31 July 2006
, is established in accordance with Article 15 of the Council Chamber Regulations March 11, 1981
21 and its subsequent amendments and additions, a Council Commission of Inquiry with the task of ascertaining
:
a) the authenticity and real origin of the "document"
attributed to the Italian Republic Senator and one signed by the President of Trillium Gaming Inc., both produced by some
Directors in the meeting of the Great and General Council of 27 July 2006;
B) the veracity of the statements contained in the documents referred to in subparagraph a);
C) whether the documentation produced was solicited directly or indirectly by the Directors
Republic instrumental for political purposes;
D) the existence of any improper conduct by politicians on the
possible opening of a casino in San Marino.


Art.2
The Commission is made pursuant to the last paragraph of Article 15 of Law 11
21 March 1981 (Council Chamber Regulations) as amended by the Qualified Law 2/2006,
, namely:
- four members of the Great and General Council representing the Christian Democratic Group
San Marino;
- Six members of the Great and General Council on behalf of the Group of Socialists and Democrats
;
- Three members of the Great and General Council on behalf of the People's Alliance;
- Two members of the Council Great and General representing the United Left Group;
- A member of the Great and General Council, representing the New Party
Socialist Group;
- A member of the Great and General Council representing the list we sammarinese;
- A member of the Great and General Council, representing the Popular List San Marino;
- A member of the Great and General Council, representing the National Alliance List
San Marino;
- A member of the Great and General Council, representing the San Marino List for
Freedom.
They can not be part of the Councillors Commission indicated in the documents referred to in Article 1
or who produced the documents themselves.


Art.3
The Commission, in the inaugural meeting convened by the Regency,
elects from its members a president, who will be replaced, in case of absence or impediment, by the oldest
Counsellor in charge and in case of equal length from the more senior age.
The Commission has the powers and limits of Article 15 of the Regulation Council Chamber
11 March 1981 n. 21 and its subsequent amendments and therefore may, among other things, to admit evidence from witnesses
well as consult and scan documents at public offices and the court of law.
The Commission can not interfere with, hinder or delay any action by the judicial
on the same facts.


Art.4
The Commission shall report to the Great and General Council no later than 31 January 2007

It will perform its work in the Hall of the Great and General Council.
As Secretary of the Commission are carried out by an official of the Secretariat of Institutional

Art.5
Members of the Commission and officials of the same tax inspectors are bound to secrecy
investigation until the reference referred to in paragraph one of Article 4.


Art.6
This Law shall enter into force on the fifth day following that of its legal publication
