RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW On Amendments to Article 16 of the
Federal Law on the Status of Soldiers , adopted by the State Duma on November 9, 2016
Approved by the Federation Council on 16 November 2016 Article 1 Article 16 (4) of the Federal Law of 27 May 1998 76-FZ "Status of military personnel" (Legislative Assembly Russian Federation, 1998, No. 2331; 2000, No. 33, sect. 3348; 2003, No. 46, sect. 4437; 2004, No. 18, Art. 1687; No. 35, sect. 3607; 2008, No. 45, est. 5149; 2010, No. 30, sect. 3990; 2011, No. 46, sect. 6407; 2012, No. 31, sect. 4326; 2013, No. 27, sect. 3477; No. 48, sect. 6165; 2014, No. 23, sect. 2930; 2015, No. 29, Art. 456; 2016, No. 27, sect. 4160) the following changes: 1) in the first paragraph of the first phrase " military personnel performing military service under contract in compounds and military units of constant readiness in posts to be staffed by soldiers, able crewmen, sergeants and by contract after 1 January 2004, as well as "delete, the words" of the military educational establishments of professional education "shall be replaced by the words" military professional educational organizations or education organizations of higher education ", after the words "Indicating military personnel and their families" with the words " (with the exception of the members of the families of military personnel serving under the contract in connection with the military units of constant readiness in posts to be staffed by soldiers, by contract after 1 January 2004) "; 2) in paragraph 3 of the contract military service for military service under contract in connection and military units readiness in positions to be staffed by soldiers, able crewmen, sergeants and petty officers who entered the military service under the contract after 1 January 2004 and " delete; 3) the fourth paragraph was repealed.
