RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION Federation Adopted by the State Duma on 12 March 2010 Approved by the Federation Council on 17 March 2010 Article 1 Commit to Criminal Code of the Russian Federation OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION 2954; 2003, N 50, sect. 4848; 2004, N 30, sect. 3096; 2009, N 52, sect. 6453) The following changes: 1) Part 3 of Article 73 should be supplemented with the following sentences: " The trial period starts at the time of the entry into force of the sentence. The probationary period shall read from the date of the declaration of the sentence. "; 2), to supplement article 74 as follows: " 6. The rules set forth in paragraphs 4 and 5 of this article shall also apply if the offences referred to in those parts are committed before the coming into force of a suspended sentence. In this case, the trial against the new offence may take place only after the sentence of conditional conviction has entered into force. ". The probationary period is calculated in accordance with article 73 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. ". Article 3 1. This law shall enter into force on the date of its official publication. 2. The probationary period not expired on the date of the entry into force of this Federal Law shall be calculated in accordance with the procedure established by article 73 of the Penal Code.
