RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW amending Article 145-1 of the Criminal Code Russian Federation Adopted by the State Duma on July 6, 2007 Approved by the Federation Council on 11 July 2007 Article 145-1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Legislative Assembly Russian Federation, 1996, 2954; 1999, N 11, sect. 1255; 2003, N 50, sect. 4848) Amend to read as follows: " Article 145-1. Non-payment of wages, pensions, fellowships, benefits and other payments 1. The failure to pay more than two months of wages, pensions, stipends, benefits and other statutory payments made by the head of the organization, by an employer, by a person of vested interest or other personal interest, is punishable by a fine of up to twenty thousand roubles, or in the amount of wages or other income of the convicted person for a period of up to one year, or by disqualification to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of time shall be punished by imprisonment for the term of up to five years. 2. The same act causing serious consequences- shall be punished by a fine of between 100,000 rubles and 500,000 rubles ($1,500,000), or in the amount of wages or other income of the convict for a period of one to three years or imprisonment for a term of imprisonment. 3 to 7 years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years or without it.
