RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW amending Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation adopted by the State Duma on November 9, 2007 Approved by the Federation Council on 23 November 2007 Amend the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation (Legislative Assembly Russian Federation, 2001, 4921; 2002, N 22, sect. 2027; N 30, est. 3015; 2003, N 27, sect. 2706; 2007, N 24, sect. 2830) The following changes: 1) Part 5 of Article 39 should be set out as follows: " 5. The powers of the head of the investigative body provided for in this article shall be exercised by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee under the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation, the head of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Prosecutor's Office. OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION Their deputies, as well as the heads of the investigation bodies OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION The bodies and their deputies, whose procedural powers are established by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee attached to the Procurator's Office of the Russian Federation, the heads of the investigative bodies of the relevant federal executive authorities ( by the relevant federal executive bodies (...) (...) (...) "The Investigation Committee of the Office of the Procurator of the Russian Federation" shall be replaced by the words "other head of the investigative body"; (3) in article 162: (a) in Part Four of the word " head of the investigation body on to the district, city or equivalent of the investigating body, including the military "to replace the words" by the head of the relevant investigative body "; b) in Part Five," equivalent to the head of another specialized investigative body, including "Replace the military" by "other head of the investigation body".
