Federal Law On Amendments to Article 80 of the Federal Law On Basic Guarantees of Voting Rights and Right to Participation in the Referendum of Citizens OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION Federation 22 June 2005 Article 1 Article 80 Federal Act No. 67 of 12 June 2002 on fundamental guarantees of electoral rights and the right to participate in the referendum of citizens of the Russian Federation OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION (2253) to supplement paragraph 7 with the following: " 7. The provisions of article 4, paragraph 9, and article 70, paragraph 6, of this Federal Act do not apply to elected officials of local self-government who are deputies to the legislative (representative) bodies of the State of the Russian Federation elected before 13 May 2002. ". Article 2 Article 83 of the Federal Law of 6 October 2003 N 131-FZ " On the general principles of the organization of local self-government in OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION 3822; 2005, N 1, st. (12) be supplemented with Part 7, as follows: " 7. The provisions of article 40, paragraph 6, of this Federal Act, which provides for the prohibition of elected officials of local self-government to be deputies of legislative (representative) bodies of the State authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation It applies to elected officials of local self-government who are deputies of the legislative (representative) bodies of the State authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation elected before 13 May 2002. ". Article 3 Set that the provisions of Article 80, paragraph 7 Federal Act No. 67 of 12 June 2002 on fundamental guarantees of electoral rights and the right to participate in the referendum of citizens of the Russian Federation (as amended by the present Federal Law) and article 83, part 7, of the Federal Act of 6 October 2003 No. 131-FZ on the general principles of the organization of the Russian Federation This Federal Act applies to elected officials of local self-government who, on the date of the entry into force of this Federal Act, are members of the legislature (representative) of the State OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION Article 4 This Federal Law shall enter into force on the date of its official publication.
