RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW on amendments to the Federal Act "on weapons" adopted by the State Duma on November 21, 2003 the year approved by the Federation Council November 26, 2003 year to amend the Federal law of December 13, 1996 N 150-FZ "on weapons" (collection of laws of the Russian Federation, 1996, no. 51, art. 5681; 1998, N 30, art. 3613; N 31, art. 3834; N 51, art. 6269; 1999, N 47, art. 5612; 2000, N 16, art. 1640; 2001, N 31, art. 3171; N 33, art. 3435; N 49, St. 4558; 2002, N 26, art. 2516; N 30, art. 3029; 2003, N 2, art. 167; N 27, art. 2700) as follows: 1) in article 20: the name should read as follows: "article 20. Sale, gift or inheritance of arms ";
part of the first and second null and void;
2) supplement article 20-1 as follows: "article 20-1. Award arms award arms-civil, short-barreled manual small arms and bladed weapons received by citizens of the Russian Federation as a reward on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation, award documents, foreign heads of State and heads of Governments of foreign States, as well as on the basis of the orders of the heads of the State paramilitary organizations.
Permission to keep and bear arms reward citizens of the Russian Federation shall be issued by the internal affairs authorities at the place of residence. To obtain the specified permission to the citizens of the Russian Federation which are not members of the army and the State paramilitary organizations are obliged to provide a medical report by the internal affairs agencies provided for in article 13 hereof.
Species types, models of military-style short manual small arms and bladed weapons, which may be awarded to citizens of the Russian Federation, as well as the procedure for awarding the specified weapons shall be established by the Government of the Russian Federation.
Sale, gift or inheritance battle stemmed manual small premium weapons are not allowed. ".
