RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW On the transfer of the Federal Republic of Germany from the Church of the Holy Mary (Marienkirche) in the city of Frankfurt-on-Oder, displaced to the Soviet Union as a result of World War II and stored at the State Hermitage Adopted by the State Duma on 5 April 2002 Approved by the Federation Council on 10 April 2002 Article 1. On the basis of article 8, paragraph 1, article 10, paragraph 1, article 18, paragraph 2, of the Federal Act of 15 April 1998 on cultural property, OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION 1799; 2000, N 22, sect. 2,259), accept the claim of the Federal Republic of Germany for the return of the Evangelical Community of the Church of St. Mary (Marienkirche) in the city of Frankfurt-on-Oder of the hundred and eleven stained cultural treasuries. The unique character, especially important historical, artistic and scientific significance of the Soviet Union as a result of the Second World War and stored in the State Hermitage. Article 2. In accordance with article 18, paragraphs 3, 4 and 5, of the Federal Law , referred to in article 1 of this Federal Act, of the Federal Republic of Germany. Article 3.
