RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW Amending and Supplements to Federal Law "About Veterans" Adopted by State Duma on October 30, 2002 Federation Council of the Federation on November 13, 2002(In the wording of Federal Law of 22.08.2004) N 122-FZ Article 1. To amend the Federal Law "On Veterans" (in the wording of the Federal Law of 2 January 2000 N 40-FZ). 1995, N 3, sect. 168; 2000, N 2, sect. 161) the following changes and additions: 1. Article 1, after the words "veterans of the hostilities on the territory of the USSR", should be supplemented with the words ", in the territory of the Russian Federation". 2. In article 3, paragraph 1, subparagraph 1, paragraph 1, paragraph 1, should read: " (1) military personnel, including retired military personnel who are subject to military charges, persons of ordinary and executive bodies Employees of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation and employees of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, employees of the penal correction system of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION N 122-F) 3. Section III of the list of States, cities, territories and periods of hostilities involving citizens of the Russian Federation with the participation of citizens of the Russian Federation to the Federal Act "About veterans" after the paragraph "Fighting in Syria and Lebanon: June 1982" to add the following paragraphs: " To carry out tasks in the context of armed conflict in and around the Chechen Republic OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION December 1994 to December 1996 Meeting the tasks of counterterrorism operations in the North Caucasus region since August 1999. Article 2. The federal law provides for the implementation of relevant measures for the social protection of veterans. Article 3. The President of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation shall bring their regulatory legal acts into conformity with this Federal Law. Article 4.
