Ratify the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against the Safety of Maritime Navigation of 10 March 1988, signed with the subsequent ratification on behalf of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics in London on 2 March In 1989, with the following reservation: "The Russian Federation shall apply article 8, paragraph 1, of the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against the Safety of Maritime Navigation, in part not contrary to its legislation".
