RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW On ratification of the Customs Union Treaty and Single Economic Space adopted by the State Duma on May 16, 2001 Approved by the Federation Council on 16 May 2001 , to ratify the Treaty on the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space, signed in Moscow on 26 February 1999, with the following reservation to articles 16 and 18 of the Treaty: Russian Federation in mutual trade with States parties The Treaty on the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space, except for the Republic of Belarus and other States members of the Commonwealth of Independent States, will be transferred from 1 July 2001 unless otherwise stipulated by international treaties The Russian Federation on the procedure for the collection of indirect taxes in mutual trade, concluded on a bilateral basis, on the imposition of indirect taxes on the principle of the country of destination, with the exception of the taxation of oil sales, including the stable Gas condensate and natural gas.
